My hands do not get sweaty at all, so grip was a big problem. I quickly realized that grip was a big part of it. You showed me the right product and how to fix my pole temp. Thank you. You have helped me so much in my pole journey.

THANK YOU! I am preparing for a competition where stainless steel poles will be used and I was ready to cry because I can never get good grip on them with my body. The glycerine grip works like a charm and for the first time in my life I can do a cross ankle release!

Aww So happy that the glycerine grip works for you. My thighs don‘t have a natural moisture either, and while cross knee release isn‘t a problem, the cross ANKLE release always felt sketchy without the glycerine. Good luck for your competition

Thank you for this video! I don't usually struggle with grip, but now I know why I often slide down my pole at home, it is just too cold. 😮 I will now include it more into my warm up. 😉

Great video!!! I have a chrome pole at home. I always used a lot of Itac.. but then I saw one of your previous video in which you were suggesting to try not using grip aids. I did and it's going pretty well. It's easier to quickly wipe my hands when they feel slippery (I use alcohol), the pole is cleaner and feels better. I use a tiny amount of Itac only when I try some specific moves. In summer temperature is not a problem, during winter I get the pole room to the right temperature first.

Amazing! So glad to hear that using less grip aid actually improved your grip. 🙌🏻

Brilliant video! I have the same issues with the split grip, my bottom arm is taking on more than it can handle. I now know to focus on wrist conditioning rather than trying to do it constantly and being confused that it doesnt stop hurting!

This was so helpful. I have very dry skin and dry hands! My grip has been TOO sticky and my hand will not rotate comfortably around the pole for spins. It’s dangerous because my arm wants to stay there and could cause injury. I think I will try to focus on true grip you showed and focus on my scapular strength until I can spin properly

Glad you find it helpful. The too dry body skin sucks. But you‘re lucky for having a naturally good hand grip. Now you can learn to work with it. When you beed to hold tightly and when you should loosen it up to allow rotation.

Nothing makes me sweat less 😅 I never thought in normal life that I have sweaty hands, but for the pole I do 😢 Chalky grip which makes the hands too dry for the most people is my only way. I also noticed that 'cold' liquid sweat (like not in very hot weather) is much worse for me than sticky dense sweat which the very hot weather brings

My hands always slips, always too sweaty. I have to constantly use grip aid and wipe hands with alcohol. It is super annoying.

But I am totally fine in the studio (on steel pole) and can’t grip at all at home (powder coat pole). Powder coat is supposed to be easier. I just don’t understand ?

I have heard of this problem several times now. Sanding down the pole a little as helped people grip, though will add to the cost unless you can help with it. Worth checking out, good luck.
