4 ай бұрынThe 1934 Oldsmobile is definitely what we thought it was... a true blue survivor. We're going to pull it outside and take a better look at it. We're thinking about buying it and driving it home... 4,800 km. Just not sure if it's the right thing to do 😅

Chad and Jolene, that is an absolutely stunning 1930's automobile. Wow! And this guy knows his stuff. It could be an amazing bunch of cool videos showing your drive back to Nova Scotia. It is too beautiful a car to chop and take away its beautiful originality. Please keep it as it is and just touch up that gorgeous blue colour. As a 72 year old I guess I can really appreciate this beauty.

You already have too many cars...I'd like to see some get finished and put on the street. I agree with the others, this car should be kept original. As a large four-door, this would not look good as a hot rod. Given the hours and money it takes to build a hot rod, I would be very selective on starting with the good body style, the best being the 1932-1934 Ford coupes. It costs the same to paint and equip a 32-34 coupe as it does a car that will have much less demand (and a lower value) when completed.

Why chop such rare cars? I’m not really into these old cars, but this looks 👌🏽.. Once you chop it, it’s no longer that car or model.. Nothing to me revolves around $$$$

If you buy to enjoy just the way it is with a few repairs great, but cutting it up, I'd say no. Pass on it.

That is one that I would not chop. As for driving it home. I would consider how many miles you will have to drive it. It would be a shame if it broke down on the way. I think that I would rent a bigger vehicle and trailer it home. It is a beautiful vehicle. So I would definitely buy it. Why take the chance of something happening to it.

I figured you would have learned your lesson. A mechanical ability is required for older vehicles. Be sure to check them body mounts.

I am quite sure that car IS original paint, there is no overspray anywhere! I know I would be driving the sweetheart home if I was there, but I already have a Canadian built 1939 Packard 120. 🤗

that Oldsmobile is super nice and clean! be a cool sleeper with something like a 330ci or 425 rocket from the mid 60s. but then you'd have to upgrade those rear tires. and you know where it goes from there =)

That 58 impala is the same as the one I had as a teen in the 60's. Mine was a 6 cyl and three on the tree...Lots of memories seeing this one.

It's a beauty, buy it but trailer it or ship it home. Chad, you are a capable fabricator and an extremely talented designer, but you aren't a mechanic. An old car like this, no matter how nice it looks, will definitely have some bugs to work out and I guarantee will break down multiple times on a cross country trip like you have ahead of you.

Put her in an enclosed 24 ft U Haul and drive he home. Most the the trucks are automatic transmissions so Jolene could share the driving

Chad and Jolene , If you plan to purchase Harry's 1934 Oldsmobile, I would plan to to rent a 24 ft You Haul Truck and drive it home to NS . I wouldn't risk exposing this wonderful Olds to the road salt . . It's a beautiful antique car.

Make sure you look under this one before you buy chad, selling always have a good opinion of what they are selling. It’s up to the buyer to check thoroughly and make a good decision. Then don’t moan afterwards

Yes, My theory is "you only live once" and if you have the money, buy it,,, and add it to your collection. Start a Bad Chad Jolene museum... But do not drive it on the salt winter roads, YIKES!! Go back in the summer or trailer it back.
