Glad you explained the modulated signal. I was trying to understand why a 12 volt bulb LED or incandescent wouldn't work with a 12 volt supply. Class is out for today. I learned something! 🍺🍺

Some installers just look to get it done and scotch lock everything. I never use them.

How do you know someone was paid to do that? Looks more like the owner probably did it himself since the blue crimp connectors come with ready made trailer wiring, I'd imagine professionals would buy wiring and plugs seperate to cut costs and also have done a neat job without slicing cables by accident. I'm in the process of doing this myself, hate the blue connectors and want to make a mini wiring loom with light cluster plugs and sockets but not sure how to find the right ones or how much more expensive it will be, so probably use the blue clips for speed, spent half a day finding a wiring path without having to drill holes, job is neat so far, but splicing is gonna be hit and miss I expect, wire wasn't as long as I'd have liked...
