Just to let everyone know that bag of dungeon 2 is out now. It works as a standalone game, or an expansion. It has 8 very unique characters and the game play is a bit more co op and a bit less cut throat than the first. It has a lovely story book that sets the scene and richer game play. We hope even Marco will enjoy this one.

Just got it and played twice today solo. It's a great little game and good platform if your role play as you work through it. I use a 1d6 to answer binary questions, allowing things such as sneaking, backstabbing, also introduced a moving monster mechanic if a monster is skipped. I also included initiative rolls, and rolling all dice (using different color for monster vs player) so battles are fast and furious. As a storyteller, there is great potential for creating some tense situations here. There really is a great deal offered under the hood with this game.

We find it a fun and quirky little game. Our kids and all their friends love it and play it regularly. The Amazon reviews about it seem to back this up too.

With the new rules 2.2 then you can play standard (for new players) or with moving monsters. We love it as a game and really comes alive with the cooperative.

I really love the idea of a bag with tons of different items like they have here (but with more ideally.) I'd like it more if you had different sized items like in Diablo say... put some good dungeon crawl and combat mechanics and you have my money. Wait...is there a board game like this??
