You're lucky because Palm Beach is notorious for vehicle break ins while the occupants are enjoying the beach.

Good video. I suggest learning a “dead man’s winch” technique. It has gotten me out of many situations like this and worse. Good to see you trip. I just did the divide trail in April. I skipped this section unfortunately because I was solo and knew I would get myself stuck haha enjoy the rest of your trip.

Thanks for the great comment. It’s nice to have people share their experiences. We were lucky with the maxtrax. A winch is on the wish list and I’d definitely get the ‘deadman’ bury bag to go with it.
