He's exceptional. Funny how he's a little flat in areas, but still sounds fantastic. That's a great singer that can make the wrong note sound good.

I thought it might be an instrumental tribute, because who would you put in the position of singing this song as a tribute. The guy did a great job in capturing the emotional impact of the lyrics. 10 stars.

This is my favorite song from the 70s, after I heard this song, I made a trip to London from New York to visit Baker Street with my wife. She passed away recently. I missed her so much and I missed Gerry Rafferty, I missed the 70s.......................

I'm sorry for your loss. The sax riff has been one of those things in the back of my head all my life and I only just finally learned the name of the song. It's been stuck in my head ever since. I hope it brings back good memories for you

During my stay in UK in 1977-78 i love .the song Baker street. I stayed in Kenwoood House Hotel in Glousester. street. Now i could hear it agaain in Burma. Thanks KZfaq. I keep it now for everytime i want. I kove Mr Gerry.

This so badass, that group sax sound at the intro is really powerful... As someone who grew up when ‘Baker Street’ came out on the radio this really evokes some powerful emotions... this sounds like a herd of elephants, trunks raised in perfect harmony sounding out a warpath call to march! Those drums and the guitar solo are excellent! Gerry Rafferty would be very stoked!

ce que je trouve le plus cool est que tant de jeunes, qui n'étaient meme pas nés quand ce titre est sorti, l'apprécient autant.leurs parents non plus si ça se trouve, n'étaient pas nés😀.comme quoi quand une chanson est bonne et meme très bonne , elle traverse les époques.et puis l'ajout de ce solo de saxo est tout simplement génial😎.et bien sur bravo au jeune chanteur et au jeune guitariste solo qui assurent grave😎

I totally agree about every element of this EXCEPT for the lead guitar solo; he was way off key for most of it! Sax players are really good!

The main problem here is that Rafferty didn't write the saxophone material (despite what credits say), though that's the part they're connecting with Paisley. "Stuck in the Middle with You" is more Rafferty. Now jog on...

Baker Street is one of those songs that is so closely linked to its composer/performer that any artist attempting a cover version is taking a risk. This rendition was brilliant. Great guitar solo too.

I just discovered this video and am stunned by it. What a joyous occasion in tribute to one of Paisley's favourite sons. I was born there in 1958 whilst my parents were living in Govan. Moved to Linwood in 1963 and visited Paisley regularly to visit the cinema and for my parents to buy records. Ended up in England early 70's and discovered an album called "Can I Have My Money Back" by a musician I'd never heard of. His name was Gerry Rafferty, and I was hooked. An unbelievable songwriter with a fabulous sense of melody. He never gave up, and of course Baker Street introduced him to the world. Congratulations and respect to the Paisley Camcorder Club as well as Renfrewshire Leisure and Loud n' Proud for producing the video. Not forgetting every single member of the Paisley community who contributed. Brilliant.

Great tribute. I'm sure Rafferty is looking smiling. IMO, the drums really made this song have a great beat. Sax's were great too, everything was great.
