Aeldari are still the dominant faction and while votann did get buffed, they are at best mid tier now so you do the math ^^

More points nerfs and change the army rule like you said might actually bring them out of S tier and into A 😂

Not A tier 😂 Seriously eldar type armies are alway strong every edition due to their army archetypes(fast moving,good guns and shenanigans etc) you had eldar strong in 8th with their flyers and minuses to hit. Then drukhari/harlequins/eldar variants in 9th. Down with these knife ears!

They don't, but they get a normal 3+ save, so cover ignores the AP-1. I think this was just a case of saying one thing while meaning the other

Only thing I can think of would be a spiritseer leading the wraithguard (gives them lethal hits and +1 to hit) Only just started watching the BR so no idea if this is the case

2+/3+ Svs not getting cover only applies vs AP0 weapons. Anything with an AP of -1 or more you get to use cover against 🙂 Also Wraithguard have a 2+ Sv, which took us all by surprise 😅

Good thing we measured it in the Studuo then to see that it could 🙂 just under 4" up, 4" to clear it across, and just under 4" down 🙂

Wave serpent isn't 4" wide. It also rotated adding distance rear point has to travel and at that point wasn't even next to terrain piece so would have to move bit more. Plus width of terrain piece itself

The rotation was for fun/narrative (which was mentioned in game), as for the terrain, it was measured, it could clear it, and both players were happy for it to happen. There was also an agreement to have the two melee Knights not be shot so they could engage in a duel to the death, which should tell you all you need to know- that feel of fun is the aim of the game today 🙂

It's after the nerf so it's more to show how much the nerf impact the play. I think the problem is the game is picked against knights which also got nerfed hard. Maybe against some army that received buff would make some difference?

I just skip to the end to see how close the score is in eldar batreps. I don’t watch many.

The Gallant had the Trophy Claim Stratagem active, which is +1 to Wound 🙂

A lot of synergy for very little cost. Like you can make things stupidly powerful with 2 units which are little cost. That and fate dice are bonkers, just being able to manipulate fixed dice rolls so easily just feels wrong

Will never understand why they thought taking one of the strongest abilities from 9th, (expert crafter's) and combining it with the strongest abilities from AoS (fate dice), was a good idea.

Honestly they should have also changed their detachment rule to only reroll a hit or wound not both among many other things. Praying for the day the knive ears won’t be busted

​@@justinerickson282Towering and Dev wounds were fixed. Low points on strong units was fixed. Not sure how you can say the things they were abusing haven't been fixed.

If that was the case SoB would be one of the best armies in the game as well, but they're not. Strands of fate is fine now, it's the rule interactions and datasheets which make Eldar as strong as they are

@@danieyo1Even Miracle Dice (which are generated throughout the game instead of all up front) aren't enough to save Sisters from their own datasheets. Eldar don't have that problem.

I've been saying that about mortal wounds since they turned up: any mechanic that bypasses the core gameplay loop is anti-game and turns it from an interactive process to being that of a bystander.

Understandably for most. A lot were hoping that the Balance Dataslate was going to reign in a faction that's currently dominating so badly, the recent most tournament (NOVA Open) had 3 Aeldari players in the winning ranks. It's impossible for there not to be substantial salt with a game faction doing THAT reliably well, and to see some changes impact other factions more negatively than they do the problem faction has people's heckles raised for it (stuff like the Dev Wound and Towering Changes didn't really address the problems of fighting Aeldari for example). The team gave thought out reasons for their changes, but many feel they weren't enough to really kick Aeldari off their pedastal. If anything it will have changed 2nd position and under.
