27 year old bald guy here, i’ve been shaving my head since 2019. Let go of my receding hairline and been hitting the gym since. I do well on the dating apps, nobody cares that i’m bald. It was all in my head the whole time. To all the balding men out there, let go and embrace the bald.

Of course he makes sense. The trend we are seeing isn’t going to bode well for humanity itself. Women (as a whole) have been duped. There are a few good one’s, but as a whole, especially in North America, they have taken the bait and in the long run won’t be happy.

Maybe I'm slightly above average and on a good day I can pull some nice trim but the most important factor is the old chestnut of nice shoes, decent slacks, a diver type watch, a good shave and a nice haircut. That gets you in the game and prevents automatic exclusion. The confidence part will come along if you push the boundary on occasion.

Hair mainly matters to women under 30. By 30+, women start to accept that most of them men in their dating pool are losing hair. Usually good looking men with good hair get first dibs.

In any case, it seems that human nature tends to predominate: women tend to reward the man who is a good provider, regardless of whether he has good physical appearance or is a real jerk. That is why many women are willing to endure abusive, conflictive relationships, just to be able to have an alpha male to protect them.

You should do a video on looksmaxxing or mogging. They would say that nothing else matters except looks. While it is true that looks do not matter as much to women, looks matter enough to be a significant matter. For instance, a guy that has the looks but made slightly less (let's say one standard deviation) than a guy who is average, would get the girl.

Totally agree with Ari. I have butt ugly friends - and I really mean it - who constantly have success with 8s, 9s, 10s and 11s. When women find you attractive and fall in love with a not so handsome dude, they will _make you_ good looking in their head... Women are emotional beings, never forget that, take advantage of it.

I started balding at 21 still have most of my hair now at 30 since I use minoxidil. I’ll get a hairline transplant someday though. I honestly don’t care if women like bald guys or not, I just like having a full head of hair.

Maybe so but I would think that most men would love to have their full hair back. Balding seems to be a trick on men, like woman trying to have children after thirty. Hair seems to be about youth. Men seem to try and offset being bald by growing a beard. I think some men that are balding would love to exchange their beards for a full set of hair on their heads. It's hard to deny that a full set of head hair doesn't look better than being bald. Men obviously feels this way and try a slew of products to save their hair. They only save their heads as a last resort. Woman aren't completely blind. If a man shaves his head and face, at least to me, would look pretty plain

I think Ari means 'sapient' rather than 'sentient.' Sapient means "having or showing great wisdom or sound judgment; having or showing self-awareness." I think that you can make the case than many women are not particularly sapient, but they are very connected to their feelings, so they are very sentient.

What I notice around me is that women don't care that much about hair, BUT, last autumn I started growing my beard a bit thicker to 15mm, and a few months ago I started going to a new barbers. He suggested I grow out my hair to see what happens, as I previously trimmed it very short. It's now around 4 months long, and is going the way of Chris Hemsworth. The result of this is that it's brought women out of the woodwork and the longer and thicker I grow it, the more attention I get from increasingly younger and fitter women. Nothing else about me has changed, I still go to the gym, I still wear decent clothes that fit me well, I'm still dominant, but my hair is what most of them talk about and look at in awe. I mean, there's a lot of it, but I don't understand why it's so fascinating to these younger women. If a guy is balding, just shave the whole lot off and keep it polished smooth and don't get a hangup about it. That's the worst thing to do.

I agree with parts of this. However typically due to various studies and biological aspects in males, if a man can keep his hair line he typically has better vitality and reproductive quality. So it boils down to it depends. And before I get murdered by others on this thread, keeping your hairline boils down more so than not from the nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle habits you have and if your consistent.

Losing my hair at 36 in 1998 never slowed me down. I'm still landing women 15-25 years or more younger than me. Just be fit and confident.

Men have to have a baseline attractiveness for women to be interested. Get in shape. You don't need huge muscles, but be fit and in shape. I am 5'9", bald/shaved head, 50 years old, about a 7 on the looks scale. I have a pretty good career, but am not super wealthy. I don't even consider myself to have really good "game" with women. I am confident, knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, and well spoken. Being bald and not super tall has never held me back from getting attractive women to have fun. You have to be an interesting person for women to be interested in you.

100% true. I am online 5'6" and was not the most handsome guy out there but I maximized everything I could for YEARS and dated a lot of good looking women and mostly nice ones for over 10 years strictly online. The thing is that most men who are below 7 are not willing to put in the work but they want the hot chick. They want someone to summit to them, clean and cook, but then, they are fat, broke and don't have their life together. It's a lot easier to use something to justify your results than it is to face the reality. I could have used my height but didn't and I ended up marrying a really beautiful woman who's now a great wife! If I can do, I think anyone can.

As always thanks again Rich for all of the extremely helpful information. I would say yes about all of this. Your comments about that woman are the ones that ruin more marriages is 100% true. I stopped wearing my wedding ring because of my fingers stinking in cold weather and I almost lost my ring about five months ago. I didn’t have any women come after me, without a wedding ring on. Now please take into account that I am 100% straight and I have been married for almost 38 years now. But I still had way way too many guys trying to pick up on me out in public with out my wedding ring, I even had to different guys two weeks apart tell me to put a ring so that I didn’t break their hearts by not being available. So I put my ring on this last weekend and my wife in I were in Koles clothing store and she was in the changing room and I was outside of them, and I had like a 9 that was probably in her 60’s coming on to me really had and she asked me out for dinner and drinks and before I could say anything her granddaughter came up, probably in her late teens early 20’s about a 7 and said where would you like us to take you to? The Grandmother gave me her name and her granddaughters name and said “We would love to spend some time with you.” Granted this has never ever happened to me before, so I’m on my toes and I’m trying to be nice, honest and respectful. So I just said to them about that my wife of almost 38 years of marriage is in the changing rooms right now. And then it got completely crazy and the daughter about 40 and barely a 5 came up and just said “Well we can do a five way.” Talk about being caught off guard, I’ve never even heard of something like this happening on the TV show Two and a Half Men with Charlie Shin. I said hey awe well thank you very much for your consideration but my wife is definitely the most jealous person that I have ever met in my life and she would just flat loose her mind over this, so thank you all very much but that is just never going to happen. The grandmother was the most attractive out of the bunch and she said “So you’re going to really miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime?” I said yes definitely for sure, again thank you all very much, but that is never going to happen. The daughter was pissed off and went back to shopping, her daughter said “Seriously?” And the Grandmother said “No one has turned me down ever!” I told her my apologies, it’s not you and your the best of the bunch, I’m just not a cheater and I,,, mmm like if it sounds to good to be true it usually is, but I’m just not a cheater. So thank you very much, but no. Then my clueless to what had just happened wife came out so I took her by the hand and put some distance between us and them, because no matter what she would have been pissed off at me for any of it. Thanks again Rich No seriously that just happened this last Saturday before noon.

Plus, women don't know what they want until they find it. A lot of younger women still have a teenage mentality well into their 20's and are easily influenced. Well, based on my empirical evidence, women do notice the good looks in men first but eventually get seduced by a guy who is more confident, pushy, good talker, who hits the right spot. I have seen on multiple occasions a girl first talking to a good looking guy but then an hour later switching onto his uglier friend or just another random person who just happened to click with her. On one occasion, I remember a girl calling one of my friends ugly and with a thick unpleasant foreign accent, yet when he took his guitar and started playing - she got hypnotised and was all over him.

As a 39 yr old man with long hair and a successful business, my bestfriend since middle school in the same position, a very successful man just with no hair and shaves, he has had just as many women as I've had. In fact I've had a couple women I've approached that actually said something to the effect of , "who's your friend, i love bald guys". It's just like approaching any woman, it's the luck of the drawl, you don't know her attractions. They will surprise you.

Here’s something NO ONE talks about: if you shave your head early and maintain a consistent: Well trimmed beard (if you can) Physique Aesthetic …then you will always appear to be aging gracefully and appearing young, while others around you will continue to look as their aging more and more. Your friends will struggle with receding hairlines, gray hairs, and bellies… while you’ll look the same as you did when you first shaved it off. I can’t tell you how often people tell me “you look the same! What’s your secret?!” I just shaved my head at 27 and look the same at 36… just a bit more ruggedly handsome. Shave it. Sooner the better.

I found the transition between having hair to bald the challenge. Once you accept that you're bald and shave it, you have confidence and give that vibe off.

In my early 20s I met a successful 40 year-old man who spent 7 years trying to convince me marry him. He was very successful, and mpst people told me how lucky I was. Others questioned what I was doong with him and that embarrassed me. He was also very sweet, kind, gentle and relentless which is partially why I stayed with him for so long. In the end, I couldn't stomach how old, ugly, and bald he was anymore, so I left and got back with my high-school sweetheart, who was super cute, broke and in grad school at the time. Left all the cars, money, luxury vacations, galas, shopping trips at the Champs-Elysee etc. Never looked back nor regretted it! Money is not everything but genuine burning desire is💯

My hairline receeded in my late 20s and it negatively affected my self esteem. So I got a hair transplant and I felt "normal" again which increased my confidence. Fast forward to my 50s where my hair is thinning all over and graying. But I don't care now and neither do the hot 20 year olds I'm dating. It's all in your mind fellas.

WEAK EXCUSE! I’m a man with a plethora of options in dating. If you are fit, masculine, confident, “successful” and sure - attractive, being bald is irrelevant in the sexual market place. I started thinning later in life but never whined about it. I shaved that shit off and move on.
