I remember this bus station in 2014. Brings back so many memories watching this. That feeling of shouting/heckling that echoes through the station of people advertising their buses. Bald is such amazing traveller. Be careful of getting gringo taxed while there so many places will try it! Me and my friends just gave them the normal prices for things and walked away people give up most of the time if you do that

Guys.. coca leaves are not the same as cocaine... kinda makes me sad how the rest of the world sees my country... it is true that there's a lot of narcotrafic here... but coca leaves have some healing effects and helps non-native people to support the altitude.

Bald, "verdad" is "truth", but when you say "verdad?" as you say at the beginning is as if you were saying "Right?". Better use "seguro/a?" (it has gender) which literally translates to "Are you sure?". Hope the tip helps you. Love your vids. Never change.

My ex-wife was Bolivian-American. Her grandma from Bolivia would always make us “Sil-Pancho” which is a flat breaded & fried beef steak with a fried egg on top with salsa. It’s similar to Italian Milanesa. I highly recommend it if you can find the dish in Bolivia. Also, Bolivian peanut soup (Sopa de Maní) is awesome.

Couple of tips for your spanish: Whenever you see "que", "qui", "gue", "gui" just ignore the "u" sound. The "Ñ" sound could be approximated by reading it as "ny". It's not exact, but it works. So if you say "pekenyo" (pequeño) instead of "pekueno" it sounds much better! Hope it helps. Enjoying these videos a lot!!!

The taxi guy was such an asshole. He PURPOSELY drove you around in circles to make more $$$ off of you, then he complains because you initially wasn't going to pay him the gouging price. I speak, read & write Spanish, so I understood what he was saying.....including his snarkey attitude. I would've cussed his ass off, then walked off without paying him.

When you ask in Spanish, “Do you know?”, if it’s a person you say “Conoces?” (from verb conocer) but when you’re asking about things or places, it’s “(tu) sabes?” (from verb saber). So when you asked the taxi driver, “You know where you going?”, it’s “Tu sabes dónde vas?” Or “where it is?” which is “sabes donde es?”. Just a one minute Spanish class. 😁👍🏽✨
