Heyy! [Itinerary + Links Below]
In this video I'm sharing our two days itinerary in Bali.
We had just checked out from Amarea Resort in Ubud, and began traveling down to Mengwi, where we're going to stay for the next two nights. Our first stop is Babi Guling Selingsing Buk Suci, which has recommended a lot to me, and it's on our way, so there's no reason for us to not stop by! It was really good, honestly, probably the best so far!
And then we checked in to our AirBnB in Mengwi, it's called The Saren, and the room that I chose was very cool! It has a pool inside and overall, it was spacious & cozy. The downside about this accomodation was how open the bathroom was, it doesn't really show in the photo, I really thought it was in a separate area. There was no TV, but the internet connection was speedy. And the bed was creaking every time we make a slight move, so if you're a light sleeper like us, you'd wake up a lot. But other than that, everything was beautiful.
Then we went to Tanah Lot, it was the first time in a very long time since the last time I visited, and I'm glad to be able to take Billy with me this time around. He's quite mesmerised with the view, but he wasn't impressed by the fact that we had to be bathed by the holy spring water and then 'donate' though, haha..
The next day, we drove down to Seminyak area for breakfast, coffee, dessert, we even checked out Finns Beach Club, which was known to be World's Best! After that, we drove a bit further down to Seminyak Beach, and then all the way to Jimbaran for dinner! We had a stop at Garuda Wisnu Kencana for sightseeing, but unfortunately there wasn't anything to see there, because we need to pay for an admission fee, so we bailed.
The dinner in Jimbaran was definitely the best we've had in Bali! We didn't hold back at all and we got ourselves the platinum package which includes all the best seafood they had in there. So grateful that the weather was on our side the whole night as we decided to sit by the beach. And the drive back to Mengwi was two hours long, a little bit scary because how dark the road could get + how dangerous balinese people drive. But we managed to arrived safely, I honestly couldn't explain how lucky I felt during this whole trip!
