We tagged along with the Gold Coast Camping and Social 4WD Group for an amazing weekend at South Ballina, NSW. They organised a group drive along the beach towards Evans Heads down past the coffee rocks. No permit required for driving on the beach but you'll need a permit if you want to throw in a line.
