Because of your tutorial I now understand chart and how sheds aid in the patterns weaving. I was a muddled puzzle for me for awhile. I am very thankful.

Thank you SO much for explaining the dots and the shed. I couldn't figure out from other videos how to know when to change shed or what it should be on, on each pick. I'd wanted know how to read patterns from a book and how to make sense of it, but I think this did just the trick, thank you!

Finally I understand how to do it!!! Your demonstration is fantastic! It crazy how you don’t see the white thread when you split them and pick up between them. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Thank you for stating clearly early in the tutorial that for Baltic weaving you never manipulate the background threads while dropping or picking up. I am learning Baltic pickup from a book right now and that was the one part that was unclear as it was not mentioned one way or the other, so this was very helpful.

Thank you so much. I finally understood how to follow the pattern draft, warp my loom and had the confidence to produce a strap for a bag that I had made. Your explanations made so much sense.

Great video . Want to try weaving with wool , can you tell me what wool you are using please
@lisaash33043 жыл бұрын
Hello Lynn thanks for watching my video . To answer your question I got the wool spools at our local resource reuse store for about 2.00$ per cone there are no markings on the cones to indicate where they were from. The weight is about 2/20 weaving wool but not too strong. I had to repair a few times during weaving
@spinnerlynn3 жыл бұрын
@@lisaash3304 thanks for getting back to me. I am worried the wool will not be strong enough but wanting to make ribbons to go on the inside of a traditional Norwegian kofta ( cardigan) and they always used wool for them. But I might have to use cotton instead.

How many threads do you know to put on your ankle Loom I was watching your video and I was trying to see how many strings you have on your ankle Loom would you please let me know
@lisaash3304 Жыл бұрын
Hi Trina I suggest you go to my warping video to see how to read and warp a pattern because different patterns will require a different number of warping threads here is the link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n96fprJy0aiZlmQ.html
