This is to show how I solved the problem of the cool plate not been registered by the scanner head on the Bambu Lab X1C

Hi Tony. Another workaround and another cause for you. You should be able to find clip-on codes on Printables/Thingiverse etc. I'm not sure about others but certainly on the textured PEI plate, the paint they printed the code in is partially soluable in IPA so every time you wipe the plate down, the code gets less readable until you get this problem. If you avoid wiping the code, you at least extend the time until you run into this.

Hi thanks for your advise. I dont use IPA I just wash the plate down after about 6 prints with warm water.I damaged mine with the scraper blades they send when I checked the blades under my microscope they are quite rough and scratch the surface so what I do now is take the edge off on my ceramic stone no scratches now

or you could just disable the scan on the printer. I have moved away from the cool plate for most things, I really like peo/pei plates off amazon.

Hi thanks for your comment you are right you could disable it on the printer or just ignore the warning or purchase the stickers to put on the after market plates, I like it working on mine. When you pay for a product it should work as this is a common problem identified withe the Bambi lab plates
