Smurfing is not cool. Especially as a representative for DotA, especially from the carry role. If you're going to do it at least put together a subscriber match. Right now you're ruining the quality of a game for 9 other people that didn't sign up for this shit. Smurfing 4 or 5k bracket as a 6k because you're learning a new role, hero, or playing with friends? Whatever. But 9k queuing in 3k is like an NBA pro sneaking onto a primary school basket ball team and pretending there's something to learn from dunking on little kids. I typically love your content BSJ, but this encourages a very disruptive practice Valve is actively trying to stop.

@uuuppz3 жыл бұрын
im not as good as bsj, for me, as a divine5 player, i would definitely avoid unnecessary fight and just farm instead. void should have anticipated that it is a 50/50 situation against a well-farmed jug, plus jug is so good at team fight. And for void, he is already a threat to jug on early stage with (threads+MOM+maelstrom), but he was stationary at top and never shows up to threatened jug, although it's not a guarantee that they can win, coz radiant's heroes are way more better than dire in my perspective.

@wellendowedplatypus90243 жыл бұрын
@@bjornschmidt4585 Literally the only things Manta dispels in this game are CM and Void Ws, neither of which really threatens a Jugg. He bought Manta IMO because 1) Force of habbit, and 2) Farming speed. Also, every farming+snowballing hero LOVES a Yasha, it lets you press your advantage (because you can more easily stay in range of people to kill them or escape if needed) and lets you farm much faster, because you already kill creeps almost instantaneously, where you are losing time is moving between farm locations.
@BSJDynasty3 жыл бұрын
in this game manta good for baiting out chronos, you can dodge kunka x or torrent with it. dispell cm and time dilation as you said, dispell rubick fadebolt, it makes void lose valuable seconds figuring out who the real one is, like 1-2 hits on illus on avg, farming speed, push lanes with illus while you farm jungle etc etc.

@@wellendowedplatypus9024 As if CM's first 2 spells arent even a little bit dangerous combined with the enemy lineup... Hey BSJ, thanks a lot for the educational videos, they're great and helpful. I can't help but think "Well, this guy knows the game inside out so of course he'll have a great game from start to finish". What I'd really love to see is how you turn around a bad game. For example, here's my nightmare scenario that happens way more often that you'd think. My team straight out feeds (9-1 in the first 5 min), my support is clueless and I play against a competent off laner and an even better position 4 (something like LC and Lich). I can't farm in the laning stage because they are always on top of me, and I can't even think about moving to the off lane because that's where their fed carry is farming, and their position 5 is on point and all that. My only option remains jungling after 5 minutes (bleah), but that will gradually end because the enemy team is invading my jungle, my triangle, everything. I'd love to see your thought process in that scenario. Disclaimer: I don't want this to sound like "My team is always awful, I shouldn't be in this bracket". I deserve my rank, but I'm trying to figure out how to rank up without depending on my team. Basically, if my team plays at least decent, I can apply the techniques you show here. But I'd like to learn how to turn games around, and I think that's what will ultimately get me out of this bracket.

Yes, this is the right content for lower mmr people. A lot of guides out there are analysis of top high mmr people and pros, what is the use of those details and sometimes complicated mechanics and skills maneuver when people can't climb out of 3k. This video format is what every Dota2 players need to watch, time and time again I used to say that you don't need a lot of talents or mechanical skills to reach 5k, learn how to last hit and control creeps equilibrium properly, try to die as least as possible and go for objective at all times. You will reach skills and mechanical cap after 5-5.k but you can worry about that after you reach that. Dota2 is a lot simpler once you know what you are doing and must do to win a game, you don't need good skills and talent to reach respectable MMR.

i want to see bsj prove these concepts with a difficult hero to do so, such as a first pick sf. the common slogan from high mmr players is "picks don't matter at low mmr" - he even says it in this vid himself. so then if picks don't matter and you can play better to compensate for an unideal pick then the proof would be to first pick something counterable like ta and see whether the 'picks don't matter at all if you play well enough' saying really is true. no shade, im so glad i get to see and hear everything that goes through his head in terms of how to win these games - but i want to know how to do these jobs regardless of if you're counterpicked (first pick ta scenario) or playing a hero that inevitably relies on teammates (sf, for example). imagine how much more difficult this game would have been if bsj didn't have the luxuries that jugger provides.. i'm pressing for this because i know for a fact it's possible - if you put bsj mid in this bracket, whether he plays a first pick ta every game or not, i don't think his winrate will differ much. probably 85% vs 90%. so i'm not asking for this to prove bsj wrong, i simply want to see how this can still be done in more difficult scenarios.

@wellendowedplatypus90243 жыл бұрын
Most times there is nothing you can do because by the time you know they are a smurf and what their hero is, you are already stuck with a draft that can't deal with them. However, what you can do is: pressure them on the lane as much as possible IF YOU HAVE THE HEROES to do it. Otherwise, you will just feed. Next, stop them from farming - get aggressive wards and smoke gang them as often as you can. Force them to come to fights or lose objectives, in other words - take good fights, pressure towers, threaten Roshan, whatever you can to slow down their timings and make them do anything else but farming. Once you let them get farmed, it's over because you won't be, and you'll lack the skill to outfight them anyway.

I think you had a good team to be able to do it with you farming 99% of the game. Most 3k-4k mmr they will let your tier 1& tier 2 fall before min 20.. I'd like to see how you farm when you have no map control..

Funny is that, on laning stage at the start, this 2 guys just did nothing, just nothing. I don't have situations where people just running away when i wanna hit creep, in most of games i jsut getting pressure. I would to see some game vs veno and one more cancer pick.

@@ordhinv.hohenheim5009 it's just not looks like 2-3k bracket on eu. I know US is a bit easlier to play, but srsly, this game looks like 1k players, insane. Their movement is like on passive bots almost.

What exactly justifies playing in a bracket like this and especially playing ranked? Why not go unranked or create a lobby with 9 other volunteers, I'm sure you gonna find some? By playing this you kinda ruin games for at least 5 other players, maybe even also for your own team. You are part of the problem and valve should honestly take actions like bans low prios, ... against this and you main account
@anthonyrodriguez92323 жыл бұрын
Man it's almost as if he is purposely playing on different accounts to win ONE game, FYI one game giving you 30 mmr isn't that bad especially considering he's teaching people in the process. I don't even know what your problem is lol.

BSJ. I dont play carry but I learned so much in this video. I feel that iin your replay analysis videos that you are drilling into certain points that would not always resonate with the lower mmr players. You put a lot of value into this video and its like i am learning on steroids. Well done.

Im a terrorblade main 2.9k and honestly, I feel like everything I’m not winning more games than I’m losing, I come back to bsj. His explanations for why he does what he does at 9k are so simple and deadpan, it’s easy to understand, and honestly makes me feel kinda embarrassed everything for not being so straightforward in my gameplay. And that’s not a bad thing, because after watching these vids, I always go back to dota with that attitude and hit a hotstreak. Fucking great content man. Keep up the good shit. 👍

Another great video, appreciate the content for us average dota players! If I may make a request, please post a video of yourself in a game with a completely hopeless team, where you get rekt in lane, zero help from teammates. Even if you lose the game, it'd be super useful to see what steps you take to try to claw yourself back into a really hard game!

It would be very difficult for any 3k player to destroy bsj's lane. He will probably win his lane solo even if his support leaches xp and does nothing in lane.
