What Arteezy is doing is using fog to hide information from the enemy. During moments where the enemy is missing off the map, he will go to places where he knows there is no vision and find farm to purposely hide his farm progress so he can surprise the enemy team with a core item. He will typically do this during pro matches, even risking the courier for the entire team to get an item last minute to surprise his enemies during a fight. This is an excellent analysis and presentation as usual. I would love to see an updated video that goes more in-depth into using fog to win games.

Ugh, this makes me uneasy. If there's one thing I see low ranked players do too much of, it's standing around and doing nothing.
@asecmimosas45364 жыл бұрын
I wouldnt describe it as doing nothing. I would describe it as taking a team approach to one-persom activities. They look like they're standing around, but in their minds they're all farming the same creep wave. Or it looks like they're standing around, but they're all farming the same jungle camp. Or it looks like they're standing around, but they're actually all considering where the next ward should be. Herald dota isnt so much inefficient in that people dont have things to do. It's more that, in trying to do everything together they never get more done than a single hero could.

I also do woodsmanning but in laning stages. Basically, sometimes, i dont contest the very first bounty rune when i see the opposing heroes are stunners, instead ill cut all trees near my tower so my enemies will have hard time to harrass me. They can't hide in the trees and harrass me right clicking me little by little. And also i can clearly what they are doing since there are no blind map in that area. I also put obs in there so that i have better vision and would not worry from a gank. It really helps a lot.

This is what I actually do when Im playing Sniper. In between lane waves, I tend to stack/farm jungle and even though my team is fighting a fight that I consider to be pointless I stay back, farm or do nothing just move around. And when I see an opportunity, I go join the fight and wipe their team because enemy is so busy man fighting they are not looking at the map or notice I am shooting them. However, certain fights I tend to avoid because I know they are pointless and lost. In any case, my team seems to hate me for it and says im sleeping but I just dont care since Sniper is so easy to kill, Id rather play this way and win / outfarm the enemy than go mindlesssly into fights I know I will get killed even if I land a kill or two. Sniper dying is the worst that can happen to a team. Due to the farm, hes worth a lot of gold and if he dies, he loses 30 seconds of good farm
@darkobakula51904 жыл бұрын
There is another thing that affects how I play - skill of my teammates and enemies. Usually I can deduce who us good and bad within 2 minutes but other times it takes a bit longer and sometimes the enemy turns from noob to instant monster players. This affects whether I go into teamfights, help certain people go against a certain player and so on. Sometimes I forget to do this and end up paying dearly for it but other times I get ping spams from ny teammates becuz they thought it was a good idea to move in for a kill or jungle farm even though I am aware the enemy is close, there are wards or my teammate is a noob. These noobs tend to get very upset but really its their own fault. You can try reasoning with them but if they re idiots they will not listen to you or even try to rationalize what you re saying to them so I stopped bothering.

My last game was like this. I was farming top on jugg. 9 people running around in mid like headless chickens. I had BF and pushed creeps hard. My team was pinging me like mad to go back to them but I knew I would just waste time and probably die with them. I pushed and got t2 top, while all were fighting in front of our base I went to mid and got t2 tower and denided creeps so they couldn't push mid. After that I went to bot and got t1 tower. Some heroes died but I got 3 towers by myself. I got so fat from split pushing I completely destroyed their team and won the game. Do what you think is best to win a game, always.
@ristonalaimo50484 жыл бұрын
miracle does this a lot too; it's how he won TI with templar assassin as well. sometimes you should even tactical feed if doing so will take some pressure off you (so you can farm faster). doing nothing to avoid feeding is also the other side of that same coin. this is why people who rage buy back sometimes, it ends up having no effect on the game, that's something rtz used to do a lot, because after you rage buy back you can finally find farm because the enemy can't chase you and you just spent 200 gold or whatever to make like 500 or more and level up.

He does this cause his ultimate is for set or initiate unless it's an am. You'd rather split waves, cut creeps. More easier to gather info as am cause most likely they're after you if you're playing agressive and your team can take objectives
@tanhongyi71804 жыл бұрын
This won't work in ranks of Archon and below, because chances of getting ganked in your jungle is lower when the enemy is sitting in THEIR OWN JUNGLE. XD However what Jenkin said does apply in games where your hero is winning a lane that you're not supposed to, and your hero has a huge massive lead. So huge that you have no idea how to utilize them because there're situations where you're still too underleveled to do anything(e.g. your earthshaker got a blink dagger but still sitting at lv 4/5). But it's true that sometimes being a carry it's not good to farm THAT FAST. Not when your supports/team doesn't have their tools, like levels and items, to execute a proper gank or teamfight. You'll get a better payback to stop farming for half a minute and pay attention to the map.

Every time I scream at my team to tp top and end up having to run away solo cause my team is to busy sucking toes another part of my soul dies inside.Then the 5 people on the enemy team take tower.Normally when this happens I just try to trade and tp to the other lane instead of bothering to defend when I can see that my team won’t.

I can swear to Gaben, that this happens to me like a lot of freaking time, though it's not doing nothing, I'm just safe farming as AM and my team go into enemy triangle, when all of their tier ones are up! And I don't even have the battlefury! After they are all dead, they just start pinging and ask me to stop farming, at min 15. Can you believe it? At min 15, they ask me to stop farming! And it's not the worst part! When I listen to them (sometimes) and stop farming, then the obvious result is me feeding, so they just turn to me and say " don't feed! Go farm, AM!" Isn't it beautiful how weak their memories are?

just mute them it'll affect you're confidence then if you're kinda fat just unmute them to win

so what i understand is that if my team has fast win heroes and wait for late game and the enemy team has a late game comp and wait i can't do anything to win

This is the type of play style that makes a good Techies extremely scary. I try to selectively show on maps to drive the enemy movements
