Dr. Sadeghi's knowledge base is so broad and air-tight and she's such an emphatic speaker, it's impossible to dismiss her. The story of how she got into medicine was inspiring; credit to her father. Her explanation of the functioning of the digestive tract and disorders of it was fascinating. I had no idea! I love that she leads in this interview with the zoonosis issue; if all clinicians--not just plant-based ones--had the courage to beat this drum, we'd see a real shift in the way that most consumers behave. These sporadic, terrifying infections and our common chronic high fatality diseases have the same cause. The same cause! The worst outcome of this pandemic is that, as pandemics become more common they will be viewed the way heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and cancer are viewed, due to their common occurrence: [shrug]"It's normal." If the "pandemics are normal" mindset sets in about preventable infectious diseases, we're _doomed._ TFP : )
