This song has so much feel in it ..... brings a tear to the eye and tugs at the heart .... The solo in the MV is Kanami killing it at her best.
@rickwagner-5 жыл бұрын
This is one of Kanami's favorites. She considered the arrangement one of their most complicated, but was (justifiably) happy with the way it turned out. Love the way her solo folds back into the song.

I really think this is Mincho's best guitar solo. Not technically speaking, but there's so much power in it.

These softer songs really highlight Saiki and Miku's vocals. Very powerful and emotional.

Apparently the backing track at the start was Kanami's piano work.

It is. She also plays the piano on Start Over and Endless Story. Yoshiki Hayashi would be proud.

Another great upload my dude. There's 2 kinds of people, those who like BAND-MAID and those who haven't heard them. Definitely recommend checking out Mary's Blood either Marionette or Bite the Bullet, or also Dazzle Vision Like I'm Not Real or Kirari. Keep up the good work.

Saiki asked Kanami to write a ballad for her. This is the brilliant result. Who knows what emotions the scruffy little genius felt writing and now playing this but it is superb on so many levels including a brilliant solo - one of her best. As usual Band Maid exceeds excellent. Bless them.

I much prefer the MV on this song. Take a look at it John and you'll see what I mean. The performance, camera framing, sound mix and the setting all have a much stronger emotional impact in my opinion. These ladies are great live but there is something to be said for a well crafted studio music video.
@maladroit53765 жыл бұрын
That's true of many of their songs. I prefer the live versions of songs that don't have MVs compared to the studio versions.

I really enjoy your reactions to BANDMAID! Keep them coming! Miku is a SWEETHEART WITH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE! Unfortunately, her voice isn’t as strong as Saiki’s but, compliments it in every other way! Saiki has a TREMENDOUS VOICE and continues to do an outstanding job on every single song! Man, am I glad I found BANDMAID! They are without a doubt my favorite band! (And it’s not even close!)

The guitar solo ranks up there with the great David Gilmour’s Time or Comfortably Numb. So melodic and emotional. Very few guitarists can produce such gems. 🤘 BAND-MAID!!!

To avoid copyright strikes, viewers can open a second window tab to the video. You provide a countdown --then we all press Start.

Yes to this. Pretty much any channel that has been reacting to Japanese Rock, etc. that is still around, has switched over to the "link and sync" method. Since you're not embedding any copyrighted content, there's no danger of a strike. And yes, there are work arounds (ways to watch more than one KZfaq video at the same time) for every major smartphone or tablet if you Google for them.

Enjoyed the reaction as usual! So, what a lot of reactors are doing to avoid getting strikes is called "link and Sync" Babymetal fans and reactors are very familiar with this method. What you do is put a link in your description to the video you are going to react to. Have the viewers open that link in a new window and pause it. You don't even show the video or have the audio. You open that same video(off screen) and pause it. and then do a count down, 3, 2, 1 click. When you start your video, we start ours in the paused new window. That way we can watch you in one window reacting to the video we have open in the other window. No way they can strike you as you are not showing the vid or audio on your screen. Plus the vid we are watching get the view count. The bad part is you really can't pause the vid during the reaction and if you want to review certain parts(like u have been doing) you will have to give the time signature. Here is a link to a reactor currently doing this method. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jNFxnMRn3a6Zkqs.html it is a link and sync reaction to BABYMETAL Megitsune. Not sure if you reacted to this song b4, but is you have not and don't want to see the actual song yet, either son't open the new window or stop the vid b4 it starts. Unfortunately, I think this is the way we are going to have to go to see reactions to Japanese artists for sure, and probably a whole lot more artists in the future. It really isn't as hard as I make it sound and certainly worth it to avoid strike issues.

I would view Bubble while breaking it up. This would not be a problem for me. You could watch it in it’s entirety on your own and watch it broken up on your channel. Don’t risk any strikes against your channel.

I love the way akane drums from 3.24 that sounds like pounding heartbeat. It's a very feminine, hopelessly emotional song, the entire band is portraying and capturing the story in it. If you were female, you might kind of feel it. It's one of those love it or hate it kinda songs.
@peterkarargiris41105 жыл бұрын
So beautiful. Band-Maid in one of their more tender moments. Have a great weekend dude. btw How about introducing us to some Romanian metal bands one day ? I don't know any metal bands from Romania. Cheers. (Do 'Bubble.' We can watch it by opening another link to KZfaq. You watch it on your screen, without sound or picture playing out loud. You just say. "I'm going to start the video in 3,2,1." Then, after the song you are free to talk to us. Many other YT reactors have been doing this to get over silly copyright issues.)

feel like this live version could lose around 10-15 bpm love the lighting and effects they use in their shows. a lot of times it's minimal.. and you're mostly just seeing silhouettes. saw a clip from the show at Shinkiba Studio Coast in January.. hooooly shiiit i'm fine with the link & sync method. pausing midway through is fine too.. but a lot of times that's all it is.. just a break in the video with not much useful commentary, and it feels like a missed opportunity for that kinda format. if you wanna hear soft.. there's an acoustic performance of Puzzle and Anemone.. little spoiler, Kanami's on backup vocals. the band's gonna be doing an acoustic show next month.. hoping there's official video footage kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l7WZq81pvaucdas.html recommend listening to album version of Anemone first.. up to you if you wanna react to it kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q85gfaeVqM2-k6c.html

The music video gives hints as to what the song is about. I heard that this song is Konami's favorite, maybe because it really showcases her "crush", Sakai, ("she has pretty hands"). The studio version is a better listen, imo.

Maybe Band-Maid's record company would go for a little exposure...it's only quarter screen. Call 'em up and ask for a limited license, or exception of some sort for your "reaction" work. What can utube say when you have permission?! The record company hopefully realizes they've more to gain than lose by letting utube commentators off the hook for their marginal intrusions on copyright. What's disturbed me lately is the reaction vids I've come across where half a beat is cut out about every ten seconds or so=UNWATCHABLE!
