The lead guitarist who wrote the song is Kanami. The guitarist with the red rose is Miku, who founded the band and writes most of the lyrics.

Yeah, the lead singer takes a break. Saiki the lead singer has had throat surgery in the past so the band are very careful with her voice. They play 2+ hour sets so to give Saiki a break around mid-set they do three things. 1. Play an instrumental, 2. Miku (rhythm guitar) takes lead vocals for a song or two (she usually has one track per album where she is lead vocalist) and 3. Miku will do her legendary and hilarious "Magic Time" MC set. Then Saiki comes back on to finish the set. Even though Saiki no longer needs a break nowadays, it's become more of a tradition. So yeah, they have a number of really cool instrumental tracks. The colour of the roses represents character and have been worn since the early days of the band. Very simply- Miku- (Red Rose- Outgoing) Band Founder/Lyrics/Vocals/Rhythm guitar. Saiki- (Blue Rose- Reserved) Lead Singer.

From Japan In my opinion, Miku, the band founder, promotes the band and is sociable. She wore a red rose to stand out. Singer Saiki controls the crowd at the center of the concert. She wore a striking blue rose. The other three were shy and didn't want to stand out too much. No roses attached. However, during the performance, all members create moments where they shine and support each other.

The lead guitarist Kanami is the best female guitar player not only in Japan but in whole world! She is a guitar QUEEN!!!

Thank you for giving the Maids another spin. Kanami (the rock goddess in sensible shoes) is one heck of a composer. Band Maid is absolutely fearless with their creative musical choices. Yeah, MISA’s bass will never be buried in the mix. Any producer who tries should fear for his life, trying to hide the “Barefoot Assassin.” Ask as many questions as you want. Band Maid fans are like Rush fans, knowing everything from individual member history to which string gauge Kanami uses (10’s). It’s great that you’re open to listen to different styles. The cool thing about Band Maid is you will get multiple genres from them, oftentimes in the same song. You’ve heard their more metal/progressive stuff, so I would respectfully offer Maid songs that might surprise you: “Wonderland,” official live video. I’m unsure of the genre, maybe you can give your opinion? I call this their “soundtrack” style; songs that are big, bombastic, progressive rock that sound like they could be from a movie. This particular piece is a Saiki vocal highlight “Freedom,” official live video. Arena hard rock with Akane’s disco beat chorus. “Blooming,” post hardcore punk/progressive rock/pop. OMV Lucky for you, Band Maid hasn’t yet tried to make any country songs 😂 🤘🏽 Side note: never fear copyright strikes from Band Maid. They love reactors and often watch themselves. They’re even known to say ‘hi’ when they recognize a reactor in the audience

For me..Kanami, lead guitarist is the most impressive musician of the 21st Century. Pure genius as a composer, True Rock n’ Roll Star on stage. She is the Special One 🔥❤️🤘🇫🇮

If I recall the roses the ladies wear.. Red for Miku and Blue for Saiki..are based on Japanese Oni folk lore....Oni demons having different temperaments...Which the ladies had/have in the early days of the band......And somewhat still do...But Saiki (lead vocals ) has chilled a lot since then and is much more open to hi-jinx on stage and taking part in the MC's.

The singer (Saiki) does actually play, both piano and guitar, but for the most part (other than one or two songs where she does a solo 'acoustic' version of those songs, she lets the other girls handle the instruments while she concentrates on singing and 'crowd control'!

Miku of Red Rose is the founder of the band and came up with the concept of BAND-MAID. She plays rhythm guitar and writes lyrics. An important point in the sound is that Miku's rhythm guitar allows Misa's bass to play more freely. IMO, this band's rhythm section is the best. Another important instrumental is Onset live, which also has a white room version. In the white room, you can clearly see Miku's guitar playing, and if you compare the two, you will understand the importance of Miku's rhythm guitar. If you like Misa's bass playing, I recommend Without Holding Back.

*from now on* is one of my favorites. The bass solo is an interlude that happens to feature the bass. She's not showing what she can do (she can be flashier), she and the rest of the band are writing and playing a song and that's what the song needed. If you like the thrashier side another one you should consider is 輪廻 (Rinne), or *"Reincarnation."* There's an official music video and unofficial lives and in my opinion either are fine. It's not as proggy as "from now on" but harder and mostly relentless. Thanks for featuring Band-Maid!

Great reaction and MISA, the bassist, is so good that from the very beginning they have always made sure she stands out, she's the lead bassist. Kamani, lead guitarist, composer, makes sure that there are a lot of places for the bass to stand out or has a solo and MISA writes most of her parts.

Glad you got rid of the cat haha ... now you can sit back and enjoy. The singer goes for a break because of the amount of songs they perform at a concert. Yokohama just recently had 33 songs. There is another instrumental that's performed live that's on their channel called "Onset" another clip that will show you just how good these guys are live. Whatever they put down in the studio, they will take to the stage and in most cases, it's better. I'm sure you will find this out on your future reactions. Till the next one ...

If you want to really hear what Misa, the bass player can do, watch NO GOD live. The online performance, not the more recent one just because, in my opinion, the sound quality is better. You won't regret it.
