those weathering pencils look amazing. Your like to supplies isn't working. Great job on this model. You're the reason I got back into this hobby at 51, I'm nearly 53 now. Keep up the great work.

Thanks. Of course, what you see in the video is still not a completed build. There'll be some more weathering and such on the underside. Just needed to get enough painted so I can proceed with lighting. Don't want to have to do any painting after the fact that could interfere with lighting.

ILM never used panel washes on any of their studio filming models, the accentuated panel lines by painting slightly different base colour shades to adjacent panels.
