Hello Hoppers, we had such an exciting day; today, we visited several popular tourist attractions in Bangkok, Thailand. We took a CANAL TOUR by LONGTAIL BOAT and a lady came up to us, right there in the river, to sell us souvenirs. That was a first!! It was fascinating to see how people live, rich and poor, side by side. Then, we had a delicious Thai lunch (Pad Thai and green curry dishes, so good) around SILOM ROAD and took a TUK TUK to MBK CENTER just to look around the shopping center and make some time, since our next attraction was PATPONG and it opened at 6 p.m. Patpong is a NIGHT MARKET and Bangkok’s oldest RED LIGHT DISTRICT. I finally got to taste DURIAN and walk around the busy streets around SALA DAENG BTS SKYTRAIN station. It was a full day and so wonderful.
