Because I want to try RP (after watching some videos first, I'm not sure the difference between /do and the other one that is ALSO an emote, but their use cases are apparently different...) but most of the videos I watch from people are cops behaving EXACTLY like this. Just over the top with it. You get screamed at and when you "...uhh-" they tell you to STFU... that's pretty whack and doesn't facilitate any gameplay value. These characters seem like they take TIIIIIME to really develop from 0.

The roleplay is the entire point of the server, the goal isn't to achieve anything. The fun is in the journey and the interactions between characters.

I've had something similar to this happen to me in one of these servers, although it played out very differently because I was doing a second generation irish-american. It ended with me being tased, screaming racism and police brutality before a literal riot broke out because my friend convinced the crowd that the cops singled me out as the only non-white person there. Was a fun day.
