So this works on Channels 1-5, granted. But what are the power outputs on those channels? Are these channels transmitting on lower wattage than Channels 6 on? Vox is a feature that is shrouded in darkness, and not much is written on it. And I don't know of any videos that have been done on it. It's once thing to turn it on and tap on it; it's another thing to turn it on and start talking to a radio.

Hi, we have headset that has PTT and VOX option, is it possible to use vox mode at the same time without pressing the ptt button? Because when we set the vox mode on the same headset we can't hear each other.

Sir pwede mo magamit basta naka set cya ng vox. Ang problema ko sir baka sakali ma help mo din ako is kung naka set ang vox e hindi ako makarecieve ng transmission ng iba

On my boat I would love to have us three wearing headsets (mic + ear) so we can talk to each other all the time whilst docking.Is this VOX option enough?

Thanks for asking sir... In my own experience... I haven't try it yet on my headset... But if it's nice... I will definitely use vox on while I am using my device...

@@henkjanvanessen nope, they can't talk simultaneously....it's 1 device at a time TX while the other units are on RX, VOX just removes the PTT sequence when transmitting...it picks up the audio then triggers the TX on the unit...when the audio dies out...it closes of the TX...hope that helps

@@YueMusni more in depth explanation is that you cannot talk simultaneously on a two way radio because TX and RX frequencies are the same, unlike the mobile phone which have different frequencies both the TX and the RX. Its just like a one lane bridge, you cannot pass through at the same time. Two way radio freq has a narrow bandwidth.

It is depends on your area sir I think... The more buildings the lesser you can use it... But in the woods or open area as far as I know 5to7 km... If I'm not wrong

Great video.. but please clarify one thing..We can understand that VOX should be activated ON/OFF on Channels between 1-5 but after Activating VOX ON can we still enjoy VOX fucntion if we change to other Channels like for example channel 6, 10 etc...?? It's very important question..So please advise..Thank you once again..

Madre mia!! La tonteria que tienes y el cuento y misterio que le hechas!!. Poner Canal 1 con la radio apagada,presionar ptt y moni al mismo tiempo y encender la radio. Ya esta,un video de 20 segundos valia!!
