Our SUV Kept Leaking after a New Water Pump was Installed at the Dealer. We Called Bar's and the CSR Attention was Great ! Was advised to Flush the System before using the product. We put all 6 Tablets in our 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 260K miles back in March of 2021, So far so Good. The Leaking Stopped and we just rolled over to 302K miles . Bar's Leaks Tablets ( Can we Say - MAGIC ) Thanks

Any clogging issues with the tablets?

Hey there Dominik, there is no cause for concern with using our tablets. We always say a chemical flush of the cooling system should be performed every 3-4 years as maintenance, if it's time to use a stop leak product and the system hasn't been flushed in that time frame we recommend doing so. These tablets are completely safe, and have been factory installed by various OEM's on the assembly line since the 50's. Our customer support team is available M-F 8am-5pm EST, and can be reached at 800-345-6572 if you need further assistance.

If you dissolve 2 tablets per gallon per the instruction and add this to a cooling system, fresh green coolant will immediately look really dark, murky and dirty. You'll see the dirtiness right through the plastic header tank. I can't think of any new car that comes from the factory with dirty looking coolant, so I am really questioning the claim that OEM's use this while building new cars.

Yes the OEM's do install prior to selling vehicles. This product is not to be added into the overflow reservoir, it should be added directly to radiator. it is usual to get a bit of discoloration but not to the degree you are speaking.

@@BarsleaksUSA You must be in marketing. After putting 2 dissolved tablets per gallon of coolant capacity into my cooling system, I drained the coolant from the system. What was originally a bright and transparent green coolant came out looking just like motor oil. The coolant has turned brown and opaque. I had to flush and flush to get out the sand-like particles that the tablets create, and I doubt I will ever get them all out. Dude, let's face facts, there's no way OEM's are putting this stuff in their cooling systems from the factory. You will need to give hard proof of that claim because none of these companies ship their cars with mud-like coolant.

@@JetFire9 the OEMs would not be adding at the rate you are adding. They would be using a lower dosage. Our Preventive Maintenance dosage is one tablet per gallon. You have added as you are trying to correct a leak, which this product has proven over several decades and a countless amount of vehicles to do just that. We are sorry of your displeasure in the color of the coolant after adding the product.

@@BarsleaksUSA At 1 tablet a gallon, it’s still very dirty looking and tons of particles. Name a car that comes with these tablets from the factory, or stop lying.
