The way the camera moves erratically from left to right as the song reaches its crescendo, the lights blinking, her singing becomes a lot more passionate... a truly cinematic backdrop to give even more life to her performance. Brought to tears without understanding a word of French. This is sublime.

Here after listening Mon Amour from Slimane, 2024. These songs full of emotions, beautiful voice and music is what the show is about for me. Less is more, this song demonstrates it. 100/100. A win will come!

I can't believe France hasn't won the ESC since 1977 - this was one of the best entries ever (from any country) - I spent a fortune phone voting for Barbara on the night (her reaction at the end was adorable too) - sorry that my votes weren't enough to get it over the line mes amis français :) love from a UK fan :)

The biggest dillema of Eurovision's history Was Måneskin or Barbara Pravi. It was an outstanding edition that was ultimately won by the spirit of that time. The love of chaos over this, peacefull but powerfull performance. Either one could have won.

2021 was full of certified bangers, so the votes in my opinion were way more balanced in contrast to 2024 where half of the songs were... eh... and so Switzerland wasn't left with a lot of competition because A) the jury hates fun B) a good amount of songs weren't that good...

Even tho France didn't win, I think this song and performance is equally as perfect as the winner's, it's just a different genre and Rock&roll is more popular I guess. Actually every camera settings in Eurovision are made by the country of the artist. It is work again and again several months before and changes are made between semi-finale and grand finale if the first shot was not good enough

This is called chanson française done right. Used to be a standard in France. Not so rare today but not so common either. Something few people outside of France seem to notice is that she wrote the song on her own, in the tradition of the greatest French singers who were also great lyricists. No wonder that she lives the whole song it as if she was singing it from the deepest depths of her soul: she is.

To me this was one of the highlights of Eurovision of the past decade. I love it when a participating country just says "no circus acts, we are just going to focus everything on a beautiful song". That was Portugal in 2017, and France in 2021. Conchita Wurst was that too in a way. It can still be real music when adding dancers or special effects, There have been countless acts that do and are without doubt some of the best performances in history. Dance is equally a part of music. No need to go for depressing ballads and minimalistic sets because your country is too cheap to pay for the add-ons just cause the subscription was already that pricey. I am dying to know which one makes you cry? I think Barbara Pravin has more power, accurate pronunciation and is leaving the song cuz it's her story. Emma is incredibly slow and takes time to transfer passion in each words, she is not living the song she is singing it while adding a new story to the lyric. That's why it's so different from Barba Pravi, she freely made another song.

Yes. This was overwhelmingly the greatest visual performance of the night and you're right - the climax was utterly fantastic, so skillfully and professionally crafted. You very rarely see anything like for a musical performance, the emotional impact was just something beyond. The lights were so beautiful and the minimalism so powerful.

It's my favourite part of the performance! At this moment I totally forget that it's a live performance, because it looks like in a movie or music video. The whole song feels very intimate. You get the impression that there is no big stage, no audience, no camera, just her and her passionate voice.

I watched this live with a group of very noisy friends. We were having fun and laughing at everything that came out the screen. But when Barbara started singing we were left speechless in awe for 3 minutes straight, which in itself was an amazing feat considering we were already drunk. I will never forget it.

I don't think there was any moment more perfect than at 2:48, where she belts out a heartfelt 'voilà', and you can hear the crowd roar in answer. This was a masterpiece.

Honestly, voila was my third place that year (and still is), but that one voila is probably my favorite moment of the entire Eurovision 2021
