I’ve been training with clubs, maces, and kettlebells for about 4 years now … I am rehabbing a back injury. I have never been in better shape than I am right now … but I’m still not ready for double kettlebell training. Alas, I still watch every MW video and look forward to the day I get to up my game.

@@erivera700 Look for MW "Tetris" of training videos. He shows how to put a variety of programs into a week format. I try to train 6 days a week but am happy 4 to 6. I do two or three days with heavy clubs, two or three days with kettlebells (right now I am running a "Snatch" progression), and one or two days with two hand Mace or one hand Arc.

@@erivera700 it isn't that hard if you have lets say 30-45 minutes a day for the actual workout. You can do kettlebells twice a week, clubs twice a week, and mace once a week with two days of rest. You can just plug and play which one(s) is your priority at that moment in training.

Waving at the giant squat rack behind him, "$15,000 worth of Bars of Steel stuff"- my forever wish list has been set! In the meantime I will have to make do with my 2 BoS adjustable KBs 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Mark for another great video to use my bells with!

hello mark for some of us (me) it was way easier to aquire a sledgehammer from the hardware store than a mace. maybe you could show us some nice things you can do with these. I am greatly enjoying it, heavy head(5kg), very sturdy and thick, not round shape. thanks to your kettlebell and heavy club instructions I was able to really increase my strength and ableness with physical outside work. a lot of deep squatting over the day also helped me immensly with lifting different things during work thanks a lot

Same here. Got myself a sledgehammer, 10kg head for doing the heavy club motions. After I'm done with barbell over heads and some kettlebell presses, I do the sledgehammer shieldcast to sort of "iron out the kinks" in my shoulder movement. But you gotta be extra careful, the heads offset shape is a problem

This version feelsore like a real clean to me. You need a lot more rip to get a stationary kb up than a rebounding one

Double 36kg kettle bell work is some serious work. Mr. Wild Man is truely heroic in strength and instruction. 80 as in video 80 or 80lb bells?

The way he handles those bells, it don't look 80 lbs. But then, mark is deceptively strong. Saw mark Do a shieldcast with a 40 KG club, with better form that the Flying Dutchman, who is all about maces and clubs

Hello. What is the position of the feet called when the feet are, let's say, shoulder width apart, and one foot has the edge of the toe in the same plane as the edge of the heel of the other? In such a position, you can squat (I'm not writing that with a large barbell on your back...), or perform other exercises (for the upper half of the body). I want to find out more about it, but I can't find the name of that type of foot position.

So is leg drive into the press counterproductive?
@esteban8183
@esteban8183 4 ай бұрын
I think at that point it becomes a different exercise - a push press as opposed to a strict press.

Adjustable kettlebells are cost effective, but a quality budget squat rack, olympic bar and plates is no where near $15000. And it's no where as scalable. Can you even do pullups with adjustable Kettlebells? Add gym rings? etc. You should watch Garage Gym Reviews before you make statements like that, as it makes you look not credible.

Dangerous, Shoulder press with the same weight as the squat, Delts are 1/9 of the size of squats andd a more tech joint This is an ego exercise - don't' do it would be my strong advice

I am only 78 kg's and can easily do 5 reps or more with 2 x24 kg kettlebells of the press and even this 3 exercise compound set.You just start at the beginning and train up to doing this.Mark outlines the steps on how to get to this in the video.I am now 66 and have train since 19,started with KB's in 2002.

This complex does not use the same weight for press as for squat. Let's say a man weighs 80kg and is learning, using two 12kg bells. His squat will move about 70kg of body weight (weight below the knees is not lifted) + 24kg of bell weight = about 94kg. His press will move about 10kg of arm weight + 24kg of bell weight = about 34kg. In this case the squat is nearly three times the weight of the press. For heavier trainees the squat is even heavier compared to the press.

You’re just weak man or your technique sucks, This is doable not dangerous at all, unless you’re an idiot who goes straight to a double 32kg kettlebell, and can barely lift 20kg, then that’s ego lifting
