@@miraaaaaaa9769 even if it is sarcasm, it makes zero sense as its the states that mandate mask usage. state government has zero to do with country government. for example, we don't need to wear a mask in my state anymore as most people are vaccinated, but the governor can still issue a state of emergency and mandate mask wearing and even then, any business can still require you to enter with a mask and can refuse you service, as is their right. dude's comment isn't sarcasm, its just plain idiotic.

wish the same was here in Greece, where coffee shops are working only for takeaway; and people can't drink outside - since November!! it's a big hit for small places that are not meant to be a takeaway place. So I am jealous of you! and for not wearing masks! wow!! I wanna move there !!

Yeah that period really sucked. In Croatia restaurants and cafes were closed between november and late february and I was jumping from excitement when I could have my coffee/beer at the cafe after the lockdown :)

We do. She mentioned that this vid was taken in 2020 December. From time to time we absolutely have to depending on the number of cases. (Zero in December I remember?)... masks are there to protect your health!

Iced drinks are quite popular here but more in afternoons (think video is morning) & December 2020, & summer, in Melbourne wasn't as hot as usual. I watched a barista vlog who worked in Sydney, & they made many iced drinks

Wondering re that too. In her first couple barista videos, Laura didn't blur anyone which i thought could be of concern. While it can be ok in public outside (only) to film anyone, in Australia, the law prohibits recording of ‘private activity’ or 'private conversation' unless the device user is a part of the group, or if can 'reasonably' expect anyone would see it, or might hear it. Are the coffees sweetened? I mainly just see shots with different types of milk

When the milk is steamed it caramelizes the lactose and makes it sweet, so it is normally served without sugar. Though some people may prefer to add sugar to make it even sweeter, steaming the milk is usually enough to balance any acidity or bitterness from the espresso.
