I made this super quickly to give students a basic idea of how to make their scores look acceptable, once the music had been finished.

I come back to this video time and time again to remind myself how to export score from Logic and it is just perfect - thanks so much! Recently I was unable to see any instruments when I went into filter>show/hide score sets window if anyone has a fix for that…

Thank you for this! I just bought Logic recently after using only pen, paper, and Finale for 20 years or so.

Really great video! Thanks for the info. This is a long shot, but is there a way to change a dotted eighth, sixteenth figure to an eighth note triplet figure with the two first eighth notes tied together? It's playing correctly in the arrange window midi region but didn't transfer to the score page the same way.

I'm trying to add arrangement markers in the score (Intro, Verse 1, Chorus, etc.) without having to enter the text for each individual part. Any ideas on how to do this? I've got each section laid out in the arrangement area of the global view.

Thank you for many great videos. Did you do any tutorials on the score editor? I'm looking for appoggiatura no slash threw notes. I came across grace notes but no appoggiatura, I have ask about this on many platforms with no joy, is it possible that logic don't have these notes?

This is amazing. Thank you. Question, can you add articulations and will Logic play back what you added? For example for strings, trills, slides, dynamics etc.

I would love to speak to you individually about something I'm trying to do in Logic Score editor: We have a very large Logic Session file that contains our full show of music (over 5 hours of cover/wedding band material) - I'd like to chart out my horn parts and chords on one score sheet and then cast the score editor to the other musicians using a second screen. Is there a way I can talk to you in more detail about this?

Great help thank you. Is there a way to store the score so that when you come back into the file you don't have to recreate it each time? I can't get back to it if I go back into the composition to change something. Thank you for any help you can offer (no tutorials on KZfaq).

Hi Donna - providing you press save regularly, and before closing, when you reopen Logic, select all with CMD+A and open score with CMD+5, and it should open up the master score with all changes intact.

Thanks!! that was quick and easy! I need to know if there is a way Logic recognizes the chords (like Am, G, F#...) above the staff whenyou write them. It used to be a way in logic 9 but now i have 10.0.7 and i cant find the option. i have to write em like text and it keeps moving them anywhere, guess its like a bug or something. any help?
@BarronimoMusic5 жыл бұрын
Hi Juan, they phased out the chord recognition with 9. Such a shame and very frustrating.

Sooo frustrating! I have to get Sibelius, but the midi import is not accurate, so i have to manualy fix them. Dont know wich option is worst. Thanks for the quick help!

Hi, I can't activate "Show/hide score sets windows" window, becouse "The all instruments score sets displays all instruments in a project, updating dynamically to reflect changes to the project. It cannot be edited". So, what should I do?
@BarronimoMusic5 жыл бұрын
(A) try clicking one of the other score sets in the top left window, and then click ‘show/hide’ or (B) go back to arrange screen, CTRL A, CTRL 5, and try that click again. Not on mac so can’t screengrab right now but if memory serves, this’ll do it.
