Nice. I'll probably be picking up the Z-52 sometime late this year (I have other grinds to finish before I pull the -46 to the front of the stack). Part of me wants to put Lutjens in it when he's finished with the Z-46 grind; the rest of me wants to save him for Schlieffen. Decisions, decisions. Your point about being too aggressive with the hydro is well made, but I'm also considering the co-op approach where aggressiveness is the name of the game. The extra km of hydro will be of significant help there, as it's a common PVE tactic to sit in smoke just outside a cap and gun down an advancing bot DD to farm it for reset ribbons, not to mention being wary of those tricky bots that launch torpedoes at just the right heading in the millisecond that they die.

Interesting how you wrecked the Stalingrad with AP and then drive by torps. Will have to make a note on that, I usually steer clear of cruisers like that in my DD

As a Pan Euro Player I'm just warming up to my Z-52. I love it: 6k hydro, the turrets are pretty fast, has smoke, 10.5k torps, decent maneuverability, good AA even, what's not to like? Answer: getting there, I hated some of the ships in-route to the Z-52 lol. Pan Euro really only has one stumbling block (more of a boulder lol) it's called Vasteras: I challenge anyone to play Vasteras 5 times in a row and not say one swear word lol. 7.5 second MG reload against tier 8 DDs (or anything) totally SUCKS lol

Awesome video like usual, you have by far the best education content for this game, so keep it up! :) Just curious, which league are you farming atm? Judging by that Stalingrad I would guess Bronze or Silver, but then again I've seen worse plays in Gold too.

I started playing German DDs when I first downloaded 6 years ago. There is something strange I've discovered with the MM when I play this damn ship, the Z52. One, I usually lose and two, the w/r of at least half of my team is sub 45% with at least 3 below 42% when I play this particular ship. Now here is the crazy part. My w/r on Z-23 - 57%. My w/r on Z-46 - 56%. My w/r on Z-52 - 40%! Just played a game after watching this video a couple of times and your advice worked well. Top of board but got rolled badly. My other tier 10 DDs are all 53% to 62%. Explain how Z-52 is sandbagged in every game? It's a rhetorical question, but I swear there is something weird going on with WG's matchmaker and this one ship.

Reiterating a request: I've got over 1700 games in my Oland which is my favorite ship "by far". I would really like to see how you tactically handle an Oland so I can advance still further in it. I've learned/created my playstyle around Oland and do pretty well: 53%WR and 1850+ Ave. XP (Thanks to you BTW """THANK YOU"""!) but I'm sure that I can learn more tricks/tactics via watching "you" play an Oland. Please utilize the 4 point AA commander skill for 12.2k MG range and the 4 point conceal (to 5.8K) so our ships are relatively same, the rest I leave to you.
