WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham talks about who taught him the most about pro wrestling when he debuted in 1980. Windham is the son of legendary Blackjack Mulligan and played football at West Texas State with numerous future wrestling stars.

This was such a great interview. One, Barry looked great. Two. The guy would ask a question and then shut his mouth and let Barry give more than a one sentence answer. He let the interview be about Barry.

I met Barry, Kendall and Mike Rotunda at Chicho's on the Virginia Beach strip. Must have been sometime around 1988 I think. They were real cool, Mike was stuck with me bothering him the whole time since he had to just sit at a booth and behave himself. I think he had lost his title to Rick Steiner at The Scope in Norfolk that night.

Barry mentioned going to "West Texas State" like Manny Fernandez; But WT Alumni Dusty Rhodes; Dick Slater; and Tully Blanchard, all worked for Crockett at that time....

Man Dustin was always dope I loved him in WCW with Steamboat, Barry Windham, etc. Goldust was ahead if its time and frankly deserved better as a

I've passed through Marfa with my family. I've seen Lincoln's Profile, but i don't remember if it's to the north or south. The land is flat where i come from, so the mountains down in southwest Texas fill me with awe.

Don Monaco was very different in NWA then when we saw him blown up in WWF. He was so huge and didn’t move well at all it seemed.

Magnificent Muraco made BW. That was BW'S 1st great program. Muraco beat the living hell outta BW. Manny Ferendez was one of the greastest workers ever.
