When God created my friend Elvis he was just showing off. I can't tell you how much i love and miss him, there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me the funeral broke me i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and cared about my feelings and opinions. What it comes down to is we both needed a true friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. He ALWAYS gave an audience a show to remember, even at the end. The more you react to his music and live performances you'll understand why he IS "The King of Rock and Roll." One of my favorite performances. He is so playful and relaxed. I wondered about that microphone bit you guys cracked up over for a long time. The thing with the microphone was for the sound effect. Elvis had to actually create the sounds that artists manufacture with technology. Yes, Elvis was a showman and loved improvising but you should also react to videos that showcase his ability to sing in any genre and his jaw dropping vocal capability. Suspicious Minds live in '70 is still my favorite but this one runs a close 2nd...of the recordings. However, my all time favorites will always be the 2 of his concerts I attended in person in 1972. Believe me, after attending 2 concerts, Elvis always kept up that energy during the whole performance.

Elvis was the most successful Live Act Las Vegas has ever had. `69 - `77, 665 shows, every single one of them Sold Out. `Little wonder - in my view. Hell`s Bell`s, when he was alive he was as famous as everybody else in the world put together - which might ultimately have been his undoing.

My wife and I went to Grassland 2 months ago stayed 7 days in the Elvis Presley guest house next door from his mansion went through his mansion and grounds at his grave and everything at his museum across the street from the mansion we also stayed 1 night in his and his family's first appartment in Memphis at the old LAUDERDALE COURT'S THEN WENT TO Mississippi to see his birth house well worth the trip and money.

I've seen him 5 times on stage and never a bad performance. Plus I had the honor of working at the airport in las vegas were he use to come in. He and the other stars didn't go on the International side they came on the executive side. It was really something to see the Lisa Marie taxing by about 100 feet in front of me. I got to meet him once when they came in what an honor the highlight of my life . I was a custodian there so I would go by the plane and his secretary stopped me and asked me if I could empty her trash so naturally I said no problem so she took me aboard the Lisa Marie and all I could say is wow. So from then on when he was there I stopped to see if she needed anything cause they left her by herself to answer the phone and whatever else. I've been and Elvis fan since 1955 or 56 can't remember I got a record player and Hound Dog Plus Fats Domino's Blueberry Hill. They tore down the place were I worked I'm living back here in Vegas since 1994. What a change I like the 1975 vegas now its just a Circus. 1:55
