I don't think there are many who don't know about Elvis around the world. Even in parts of the world you wouldn't imagine. In the 80's and 90's I traveled in parts where almost nobody had TV. Besides Muhammed and Jesus, Elvis was the most recognized name. His mythical legacy will grow stronger also as time goes by.

This man has been my hero since childhood some 65 years ago. I saw him live 8 times greatest moments of my lifetime. Seeing him do this live was beyond definition. God bless

Folks if you like him…..do one that really surprises….it’s live and intimate with a small group. It’s 68. He is not the young kid but he is still young. Amazing….just look up..”tryin to get to you”. It’s also labeled the 68 come back tour. Try that….wow.

This really showcases what a showman & entertainer Elvis was. And he had a good sense of humor. He really liked wearing these white jumpsuits & it became his staple outfit in a lot of his concerts. "Polk Salad Annie” is a 1968 song written & performed originally by Tony Joe White.

There was, and always will be, one Elvis. He was the epitome of stardom and sex appeal. He could sing a cereal commercial and make it sexy. His voice, his accent, his moves, his eyes, that crooked smile.....and the way he made no effort to conceal he was singing right to the ladies....all went together to put him on top. When I was 12, my parents bought me a record player....on the condition I never play an Elvis record on it. Within 6 months, my mom had sneaked a record in, and that was the end of the Elvis ban. My mom got to see him in concert twice. Even my dad came to like him. As confident as he was onstage, he had a certain innocence and vulnerability that also drew the girls. I loved him, and I cried when he died. My mom flew her flag at half-mast.❤

Y’all are so cute! There will never be another Elvis. I am thankful I grew up with Elvis music and saw him in concert in 1976. He was fantastic! At 66 years old, I’m still in love with him and his music. It’s so sad that people, especially the younger generation, don’t know what good music really is. Great reaction! Much love ❤️

We are the same age, I’m from the UK. You were so lucky to have seen him live. I was at a Tom jones concert 2 weeks ago. Best time of my life. It’s such a shame Elvis passed away to early. I am sure they would have done a collaboration at some point, they were good friends. My favourite Elvis song is Burning Love, I remember as a young un, dancing round the record to that song. He will never be forgotten and will be singing with the angels alongside Johnny cash and all the other true greats. God bless his soul 🙏

My childhood hero. I got my very first tape in 1974 and that was with Elvis - Aloha from Hawaii - part 2 (I got part 1 later on). This tape and Elvis made the foundation for my entire love and passion for music. Onve a while I still get back to him, and let my neighbors listen along 😂😂

You guys are awesome I'm American and an 80s baby but my parents listened to Elvis so he was a staple at my house and still is even more so now rhst I'm older and very much appreciate him, my six year old and three year old daughter's even love him so much they have Elvis dolls and shirts! You are right there is no one like him, he is pure joy whether he singing about Polk Salad or a broken heart!

You have got to see the finale of his 1968 where he did a song about the assassination of Martin Luther King and also just generally all the bad stuff going on at that point. It's one of his most iconic performances and he was so affected by the assassination and this song was so emotional for him, and it ends up being an iconic and highly emotional. It's hard to sing if you get too emotional but somehow he did it. If I Can Dream. That was a really really enjoyable reaction. It really was.

As a woman... the man just had it... lol... he died when I was 10.. didn't get it at 10.. I remember my Mom losing her mind when he died... now being older.. I understand... he just had the IT factor.. no one compares. The cheekbones, the moves, the charisma, the blue eyes... he was just sexy AF lol.. I have taught my children Elvis.. my youngest daughter .. now 30... loves him.. teach the younger generations true talent... Elvis is the King... end of story.

Have you watched young Elvis at 21 on Ed Sullivan sing Hound Dog on Oct 28, 1956? It is fun to watch him and hear the screams from the females in the audience. He had fun teasing the audience.

If you haven't already...please do An American Trilogy. I'm 60 next March and I remember when his death was announced on British news at around 10:30pm in 1977. I remember every detail including the new readers name like it was yesterday. I guess in life there are certain events that happen that will always stay fresh in your mind. Another good review. You can do a comparison of 2 versions of "Jailhouse Rock" doing one then follow it w-the other: the rehearsed choreographed version from the 1957 film kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g8yidpuBprfYnJs.html (3:28 min.) then follow it w-his rousing version from his '68 special stand up segment kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bp1-abSSlaqbe40.html (1:50 min.) where he was free to do what he did best. They are short enough to do both & you can see the difference of how he changed & evolved over 11 yrs.
