Love this video man and based my belt dimensions off of your recommendations from back in the day. Having owned single prong, classic lever and PAL configurations as well as belts of 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, I would say my 13mm with the PAL is by far my favorite for both squats and deadlifts. I lean towards a 10mm single prong for wearing during general heavy rows and such. Always love the powerlifting gear crash course videos, man!

@@aaronblakeson8348 The 8.5MM single suede I have (and I believe the only one they sell) has the same amount of leather as a 10MM double suede and just about the same as their 6.5MM full leather belt. Suede is roughly 2.5MM, leather is 6MM, vs. the double suede with roughly 2x2MM suede, 6 MM leather. Per Pioneer, suede doesn't offer any support (it looks nice and is comfortable), only the leather does. Of course, the 10MM full leather belt they offer is 10MM of all leather, so that would offer even more support. But their best selling option is the 10MM double suede.

I own the standard 10mm Inzer lever belt (bought 7 years ago and is in good condition despite hard use). I love the ease of tightening/loosening quick release mechanism. However, I wish there were 2 or 4 holes on the side where you stick the prongs in to allow the belt to be used in more sizes without the need to unscrew/re-screw the screws. The finish of the lever is a bit rough but that's purely an aesthetic thing and there are some burrs on the edge of the metal. Fortunately, I haven't been cut by the edges. Also keep in mind that where you wear the belt will likely be bigger than the waist size of your pants. I've got size medium, which can be adjusted 27" to 36". I wear ~30"-31" standard rise pants, but the widest part of my waist around my belly button measures ~34.5" and narrowest a few inches above measures 33.5", and I can only expand the size of the belt by only one more inch. I am by no means fat but deadlifting and squats tends to add some muscular bulk to the abdomen muscles. I've tried a 2-prong belt a few times, but I hated how difficult it was to take off and felt a bit like I was being bear hugged by the belt against my will and experienced some anxiety because of that.

I was wondering, how many videos one can make about his belts. Apparently, not enough :) I was binge watching your videos on the topic and it helped me to take a step forward and order a lever belt. I was going to order the PAL, but importing it to Europe would have been close to the price of SBD, with all the dick measuring going on in the neighboring countries and their effects on our currency, so I went with the SBD. I used the Rouge prong belt prior and I have to say, wearing the SBD is like falling in love for the first time and you do not even have to cheat on your wife, to do so.
