Sharon Stone reminded me of Kim Novak in this movie from "Vertigo". In the previews the scene where she gently rubs her legs into position had everyone going crazy!! What a movie!!

It's still a cracking good thriller. High gloss, slick entertainment with it's tongue in it's cheek. Don't take it too seriously and you'll have a lot of fun watching this overheated classic.

It seems to me that nicks falling in love with Catherine despite doubting her didn't make any sense.in the whole movie it never seemed to me that nick was in love or attracted to her . Michael Douglas seemed to me too old for the role.

I just rewatched this recently after having seen it last in the early nineties. Michael Douglas was a terrible casting choice for this. The movie was very scandalous at the time due to its soft core porn elements. George Dzundza was great in this as was Sharon Stone of course and Jean Tripplehorn. Michael Douglas was the wrong choice though INMHO in addition to his over acting he definitely didn’t look the part.
