Basic Instinct is one of the greatest erotic thrillers movies of all time. The story, performance's, direction, editing, music, and cinematography was outstanding and incredible. It really identifies and analyzes the boundaries of female empowerment and sexuality. It also displays a cultural significance of the term femme fatale. Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas did a phenomenal and spectacular portraying Catherine Tramell and Nick Curran as they both put tons of emotion and depth into their roles. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍💯😎👍

The film score really brings out the menace she brings to each scene she is in. It makes you think that a murder is just around the corner

This film makes me a specific kind of disturbed and uneasy that no other film manages to accomplish, or any other kind of art work, stimulus for that matter. The opening scene alone gives me sensory overload and a creepy anxiety, like it’s something completely alien, so much that sometimes I cannot watch the rest of the picture. Star Trek: The Motion Picture also makes me feel unique feelings like no other move/artwork/stimulus.

I have got two movie DVDS of Sharon Stone with Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct and with Sharon Stone again in Basic Instinct 2 as I am dedicating these movie DVDS to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxxxx

Im gay, but i can totally understand how intense must be the car chasing scene be for men, in a subsconcious level. Its not the car chasing the other car, its his dick chasing the other car, his not thinking with his brain there, hes totally driven by his desire, he is burning, totally possesed by his sex chakra. Its one of those moments when a man leaves rationality behind completely for a desire. Thats one of the brilliant things about this movie, it tells about human nature in such a truthful way.

Sharon Stone was young and she had a so so career and made B movies and then Total Recall made her noticeable and then Basic Instinct shot her to superstardom and she received a Golden Globe Award for Casino and she has been in movies since 1992 and Basic Instinct was her best work and she even talked about Basic Instinct and she said that she knew who the killer was b/c she shot those scenes and she talked about Basic Instinct in the Actor's Studio of January 1999 and she spoke about how Hollywood treated her and she said that Basic Instinct wasn't an easy role to get and she spoke about her character Catherine Trumell and how she was the most heartbroken character that ever lived and that Catherine had to be the center of everything or she would die and as she got closer to the Michael Douglas character Nick Curran she started to feel feelings for him and that became too much for her and she had to kill him b/c she was sociopathic. Catherine Trumell even killed her parents in a boating accident and got 100 million dollars. Catherine Trumell is the femme fatale. Sharon Stone played her and she did a great job and Basic Instinct 2 Risk Addiction was okay.
