@@awptsm There is a big difference between a ref trying to break up a fight and accidently pushing his kid to the ground, vs. someone who has no business on the court bum rushing an old ref. He could have been killed hitting his head on the court that hard. If the dad had any guts, he would have gone after the ref who accidently pushed his son to the ground. His son looks like he started the incident on the court by pushing the other kid who was trying to back step. Apparently, that bad apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Assuming the Dad is the father of the little punk kid in the white jersey that was instigating, no surprise where he gets it from. I hope the Dad is put in jail for assault, he didn't even shove or hit the ref that put his hands on anyone...

So the kid is already following in his father's footsteps. Maybe it's a good idea to send the dad to jail, it'll put a big bully out of the loop and teach the kid about consequences before he goes too far

I feel very sorry for this man's son. To be raised by someone so temperamental, then to lose a father. It's just very sad regardless of whether the man deserves his punishment.

When you see McLaughlin in action it makes sense why his child acts like a bully. For the kids sake, I would hope that his father is held accountable for his actions and the lesson can learned before the boy ends up in a similar situation.
