INGREDIENTS
500g (4 cups) flour
160ml (2/3 cup) lukewarm milk
160ml (2/3 cup) lukewarm water
7g (1 tbsp) dry yeast
10g (1tbsp) sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil
Parsley
Melted butter
METHOD
1. In a bowl mix together warm milk, water yeast, and sugar. Add flour, olive oil, and salt.
2. Let the dough rise for 2 hours.
3. Divide it into the 6 balls, roll out each, and fry in the hot pan from both sides for 2-3 minutes.
4. Spread with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.

That's Pita. Common in all of the middle east.

Not at all. You will notice how much thinner pita is compared to batbout. The taste is also very different. Batbout is softer. Pita is not known in Moroccan cuisine. It makes sense, since Morocco is not in the middle east ;-)
