A lovely part of England. One doesn't need to go to Italy when you have such beautiful places at your doorstep. Prior Park is simply beautiful under the blue summer sky. Everything so green and bright. That picture of the magnificent piece of architecture which is the Palladian Bridge is picture-postcard perfect. We are honoured to have a Prior Park School in Gibraltar.😊

i've never been to the united kingdom but i remember always reading about bath in jane austen's novels, and i had this idea of it in my head that stuck around. it's really relaxing and pleasant to see the everyday parts of it, what the buildings actually look like, the ponds -- it's such a beautiful town!! i see how there's all these places open to pedestrians -- i wish there was an equivalent place somewhere near me in the midwest, i'd love to live there. everything over here is dominated by cars and roads, you can't hear anything above the din of the highways... it feels like there's not a lot of space for human beings to exist, but in bath i can see the care that's been put into maintaining these parks and public spaces! thank you for sharing this mr. andrews, i really value the work you put in to showing us the wonders of your worlds both natural and science-fictional

hi, steve. i had a close friend that lived in bristol for about ten years and i got in the habit of visiting every summer. loved to go spend a day in bath walking around! it's been a while now since i've been so this was a nice stroll down memory lane for me. so green and lush! i live in las vegas (yes, that las vegas) so green and lush are two things i rarely see here. looking forward to more of these, cheers

Blake's "And did those feet in ancient time" comes to mind here, his closing line; "In England's clean and pleasant land". Stroke of genius creating this subgenre, OB. I hope you include more of your running narrative in subsequent posts, your impromptu as-you-walk musings are a big part of the appeal. I subscribed, of course! Cheers.

Subscribed. Really excited to be here at the start of your new channel. For me, living on the (at times) horribly busy Bundesallee in Berlin, you provide some much needed - and very much appreciated - escapism. Like with all of your Out & About videos over at the Outlaw Bookseller channel, this one was a real joy to watch. Many thanks, Steve, as always, and good luck with this new venture.

And will the new video show you drinking a nice pint of real ale rather than Spanish lager ? Hope so. But seriously, an interesting video showing breathtaking scenery and all that lovely greenery. We moan about all the rain and believe me I've done plenty of moaning this last week, but without it this greenery just wouldn't be the same. Btw, I'd be interested to know whether you made a journey to the Persephone bookshop which is a usual haunt for the book loving Bath visitor ? I seem to recall seeing on one of your older vids what looked like a Persephone dust wrapper on a shelf.
@WalkingBooksellerOriginal

@@ElfGoblin There are a few minutes in Persephone in one of my very early videos but even though it's not far from me, I don't visit it much as it's really their publishing office and showcase and they never seem that keen on male customers in my experience- I see all their books in my shop anyway and the fact they don't arrange their stock A-Z by author drives me nuts....

I was lucky enough to be able to teach for a semester at the University of Westminster in London, and I took as many tours as I could and one those was to Bath. Unfortunately, all I was able to see were the roman baths (of course) and then I was able to walk around for about a half an hour. Not near enough time to see what you are showing here. That Palladian bridge is incredible! So beautiful! I really like the concept of these videos and can't wait to see more. Just out of curiosity, what kind of mount are using to film these? It is really smooth!
