His damage is definitely not lacking, the savage blow can allow him to deal upwards to around 300K damage at level 50/ 60, which is incredible bursting potential. That’s almost like Balrog’s strengthen attack (albeit about 100K less damage) except slightly ranged, AOE, and on a rusher with high mobility.

The return of the king, Anubis was one of my first Uber like 7-8 years ago, being one of the few cats with wave immune at that moment made me have some appreciation for him, sadly after a few time he was awful, I'm happy he finally is getting some god treatment

Back when Anubis used to be the worst Uber of the set and was called Auboos. Well not any more because he is now broken now and this makes me happy. Now I want Anubis now. Even though you need 25 Uber Rare Catseyes and 15 Dark Catseyes with tons of NP. But it's worth it. Edit: I GOT HIM!!!!!!

Funny story, back in 2021 I started playing battle cats again and I unlocked Anubis as one of my first ubers in my new account. At first I didn't know he was bad at the time so I kept him around, didn't trade him for xp and used him pretty frequently. But in like early 2022, I saw a ranking video of the Almighties that showed Anubis at a low spot and I thought to myself that I shouldn't have kept Anubis because of the criticism he was getting. I didn't use him ever since until ultra talents were added to Anubis. People then began praising Anubis and this video showed that too. I was relieved to know that Anubis is actually relevant again. :D

Very detailed explanation! Quite incredible to see that Anubis is no longer just “Anoobis.” Also, that Almighties ranking at the end was quite cool. Glad to see my boy Poseidon get some love. His Savage Blows have seriously saved my ass when they proc, as well as carrying me on a lot of zombie and metal stages.

A few weeks ago I pulled Anubis from a Uberfest, at the time I was quite disappointed considering he was one of the worst from his Uber poll, but now I realise I was blessed with a beast for late game (I am still at ITF chapter 2 so right now he might not be that helpfull, but I'm keeping him as my main Generalist for sure)

I don’t know what to say… A backliner of range 425 has a DPS of 33.4k against EVERYTHING is broken. Not to mention he has zombie kills, high barriers break rate, cheap cost (3600), wave immune, surge immune, Kb immune, slow immune… He is essentially the real god here.

What. The. Fuck. Legit higher DPS than Amaterasu when levelscaling taken into account. And he can actually hit traitless enemies, And isn't nullified by Curse. And his Surge/Wave immune means hes good against EVERYTHING They just took the nuclear option in balancing

Right after rolling the guaranteed almighty 2 times i found both gaia (in my first roll) and then anubis (in the second roll). I thought i got unlucky, guess not. Even funnier is how they're rectifying it next update, so you will need to max out the UT on Anubis and similar units to get the full advantage. Meaning the first and likely only Ubers to ever get nerfed are Anubis, Kuu, and Coppermine.

For the dps comparison, did you include Ammy’s Gao’s and Sirius’s abilities? I’m not sure if Anubis would actually be able to surpass Ammy specifically Just a bit confused is all. I’m not saying Anubis is bad, but I’m not sure he actually beats Ammy

If he didn't, then ammy would have 56k/42k dps AT LEVEL 30 against traited enemies. At that point she would become the guaranteed win bottom and the best cat in the game by a huge margin

about the tier list at the end, I'm curious on why Chronos is at the very top of the tier list not that I'm complaining, she's my favorite and first ever uber, but still I'm curious why she's now ranked above Amaterasu and even now, Anubis.

Xskull had explained that Chronos was placed on top due to how powerful she actually is as a support Uber. She is basically Mitama that trades off slow for freeze but with much less uptime and survivability. Her synergy with other units is absolutely incredible, whether it’s backliners, meatshields, midrangers, you name it. It gets even better later game as there will much stronger enemies for Chronos to neutralize and save your run.

unfortunatly i got anubis in the early game where talents dont apply but even in mid game i still use him as a generalist backline dps on some stages he is able to carry but keeping him alive can be quite tough since he likes to walk into enemy range and die like a moron

I mean, there has been some exceptions like saki who was already pretty good specialist against relics and aliens and suddenly received one of the most broken talents. Le fish still lacks true form, so he still have a big room for improvement. For luffy, let's hope they don't give him wave resist or some bs like that

What's with the sudden shoot up with poseidon at #2? I don't really want to undermine poseidon because he's great, but what exactly changed to land him above ama and ganesha and such?

Poseidon’s savage blow talent gives him a monumental amount of burst, being able to deal around 300K damage in one hit at level 50/ 60 which is the standard for my ranking criteria. His usage is similar to that of Yukimura, being a very high mobility rusher that’s really cheap, has fast cooldown, and a surprisingly high amount of HP. The slight range also allows Poseidon to avoid frontline enemies that carry too much DPS. He also has zombie/ meta, freezing niche on top of that. You can find similar units with Amat/ Ganesha, but Poseidon is a lot less replaceable and more unique overall with better end/ post game performance from sheer speed and burst.
