I've heard similar things about Dead Dead Girls, that the premise is great, but execution tanked it. Glad the non fiction saved things a bit

eek, so sorry you didn't like Dead Dead Girls! The cover looks super cool too. I hate when covers don't match the content because I allllways judge a book by its cover. :P but Hood Feminism coming in for the win! I am curious to see what books you recommended for your booktuber now.

I haven't been prioritizing nonfiction like I wanted to this year myself, but we have 6 months to turn things around!

Hood feminism sounds very interesting, but based on what you said, it sounds like it's quite American and targeted to Americans and, not being an American myself, that often really bothers me. So is that feeling right or does it have a more broad perspective on things?
