The music is annoying, unnecessary, and distracting. If they must have background music, then use music from the period.

Nat Natex DO YOU HAVE SEEN ONE FUCKING WAR WON bY CHILDREN AT ARMS ? THEY ARE ONLY CANNONFODDER IN AN ARMY And "no chance at all to win" ? The polish got an absolut superior.(sry for my bad english) And if they would have lost Warsaw without the children at ARMS WARSAW is not POLAND Or do you have seen the german people crumbling after the lose of culture freedom and Berlin because of Napoleon ? NO ! We have won the war against napoleon with our owen power . In no war should children ... who have their whole live before them ... take weapons and sacrifice their young lives to serve the old . Or do you want to see your child dying in a battlefield if you would have one? Do you would let fight it your war ?

While I enjoy the good use of the graphics, the addition of a soundtrack is very distracting and ruin the entire presentation.

The music is dreadful, a distraction to a pleasant voice, and makes it difficult to listen to. 😖

@szopen76 You know how it works, when re established Poland takes (back) etchnically mixed territories it`s a bad "imperialism", when Moscow takes Ukraine or central Asia, it`s all right.

@MaximusProteus yeah, and what;s more Polish army NEVER actually reached territories of ethnic Russia, and there were no mixed Polish-Russian population, but Polish-Belarussian, Polish-Ukrainian tec. Maybe they mistake Pilsudski (dreams of federation of independent states with Poland in the lead) with Dmowski (dreams of huge Poland). Also war started in 1919, remember that, more than a year before offensive of kiev.

I don't know why people feel the need to inflate the number of Russians in this battle, both armies were of a comparable size with the Russians having a slight numerical supremacy over the Poles. This number-inflating is the most persistent stain throughout history.

@Armydicked Also no mention of an alliance with Ukraine and Petlura, but rather "ambitions for greater Poland"... quite laughtable. 3. Both sides in WWI supported communists in the enemy states, Germans clearly helped Lenin just to make a peace in Brest Litovsk and take the forces on the western front. Entente for the other hand supported revolutions in Bavaria, Austria and Hungary (Bela Kun).

@Armydicked He was not "so assured of failure". He just thought, that a failure is possible, and that in that case (as he was deeply disliked in the west) Poland would need someone else, more liked in the west. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst

I think the numbers are questionable. The russians were superior in numbers to the pols. On a technical note, Marshal Pilsudski is pronounced (Pisudski) the "l" is silent.
@EnhancedNightmare
@EnhancedNightmare 10 жыл бұрын
Not really. Piłsudski is read with the "ł" there. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pl-J%C3%B3zef_Pi%C5%82sudski.ogg Hear it for yourself.

mkz42279 Typo is a typo nothing to discuss here. But since I am a native speaker of Polish language I assure you that Piłsudski is pronounced exactly as it is written, given that some pronounce this surname "Piłsudzki" because it goes easier of the tongue.

I hope the little seventh grader got an A for her excellent class presentation. What? If this wasn't the work product of a seventh grader, I would give it low marks. 1. The battle of Warsaw was a Polish hail mary pass---Pilsudski submitted his resignation letter before launching the attack---he was so asured of failour 2. What, no mention of Stalin and Buddonny? 3. War torn Europe lay ripe for Communist take over--this was Marx's great wet dreadream. Only in 1945 would communism get a chance
