I love Battlefield 1!! Every game just feels like ur actually there in a war, it’s very immersive idk how to explain it

I have gone back a couple of times to replay BF1 as I was literally missing the ‘ experience’ of the game. BF1 is something truly special.

BF1 so deserves it’s title as best BF game… It’s got everything a good game needs. It’s gritty, it’s fast-paced, it’s grim, it’s funny, it’s not too complex and simple and never boring, it’s awe-inducing and truly goes to show how a single soldier is just a tiny, meaningless piece in the grand machinery that the first modern war really was. BF 1 is full of tiny details that just make the game better, be it neat and accurate reloading animations or a fellow soldier congratulating you on a promotion. And it’s got features like the behemoths and elite classes that make it so unique, but it still gets its brand-typical only in BF moments. Of course it’s not perfect - for instance, I’d much prefer a proper campaign to the war Stories (although they aren’t bad in itself, don’t get me wrong), and a shooting ground would be nice - but these are all minor issues and easily overlooked. Operations is to this day my favorite BF gamemode, and if I feel like hype and goosebumps I will go and rewatch the BF1 trailer (that thing still is a masterpiece!). BF1 is imo the last BF game to create hype, meet it and even surpass it just weeks after launch, and it still meets that hype eight years later. This game is truly amazing, one of a kind, and I will keep playing even if I will be the last person doing so.

BF1 was the 1st time I played multiplayer. Helped me through COVID lockdowns and will always have a special place for it. Loved watching your content over the years mate. You are the BF1 GOAT!

This game is special. The sound when you get a headshot. YES! It keeps pulling me back to my PS. Bought ps plus today after 2/3 years away. 900+ hours of play. Played 5 games of conquest. Its good to be back.

BF1 is one of those games that if you didn't experience it and the servers at its peak, then its impossible to understand how special this game was.

i met you thanks to this game, it makes me so nostalgic tbh. First game I bought on my ps4, also one of the first "modern" multiplayer game i played cause before my ps4 I always had a bad pc where i just played cs 1.6 haha. I remember getting into the game, watching the graphics, the gameplay, the atmosphere..damn I was so bad at the game and i couldn't stop playing it anyways! also before buying it i watched a whole lot of documentaries about ww1, so my hype was extremly high. I bought the premium version of the game and it didn't dissapoint at all. I'm just so glad to have been part of the this game when it just came out, and of course, to have met your channel.

got to agree with you mate, cut my teeth on BF2, spent ages on BFBC2, loved both BF3 and 4 but I can still remember the night we got access to the BF1 Beta - it was really cool to play with the same names i remember from the old servers. That first time I fired off the field gun down from C to B in Sinai and got multi after multi was just so fun. I play this everyday and still get a laugh every time.

I haven't played BF1 in a while, but i saw Jackfrags video about it yesterday and today yours! I'm downloading this game tomorrow, defo. Masterpiece

I stopped playing this game for awhile, but it's always been a favorite of mine. Recently got back into it and it's always an absolute blast!

The difference is that this was a labour of love for the dev team and they had to convince and push the publisher to agree to WWI for this setting. They poured their hearts into it and it shows in every way. Definitely the best BF for me!

That 2nd map was definitely my favourite bf1 map, started out on bf4 and enjoyed the heck out of it then this, many late nights with the boys

Anybody know what’s going on with bf1 servers in North America, it appears that only rented servers are showing in the server browser, also matching not working.

Which controller do you use on PC: the Xbox controller or the PS5 DualSense controller?

what controller are you using? steam says only xbox is supported, thus I use a ps5 controller with the ds4 mod and it feels pretty delayed compared to bf2042.

Not having helicopters were a big part of game for me. BF3 BF4 and BF2042 heli drivers are so good they make the game less fun for me. Planes and tanks I have no problem. Love your content. I watch every morning. 🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉

How are you playing this game? I hop on (I’m on console btw) and there were 64 people. Next day I hop on around the same time, I get nobody. I tried fixing the search settings can’t find any sessions. Anyone know??

I wish they would add more stories, like the Bulgarian front, The Russian front, Japanese island take overs, Turkish war of independence, and new maps and guns which would be a great expansion.

Fort De Vaux was a blast to play. Best DLC was the Russian DLC where the brought in the Russian Revolution.

The game is still amazing today. The amount of detail in this game is just immense. Compare it with 2042 - I bought it with high hopes that it was going to be a new feat of design, raw destructive gameplay with a decent story but instead it is a hotch potch of borrowed ideas from fortnite and apex with the weakest map design to date and no story mode so I thought they would knock the multiplayer out of the park but nope.The maps are also way too big. It just feels soulless. Running to get to an objective takes a good 3 minutes on something like hourglass and in game terms, 3 minutes is like half an hour. The spawning vehicle system is ok but half the time when I want to omit running and just get in a vehicle is usually when they are all used anyway. Battlefield 1,3 & 4 are still the best IMO. Even BFBC2 was dope and that was like 15 years ago but it is still better than 2042

I dont get any of the love for BF1, most of the maps were so hard to see enemies, gun play was possibly the worst of any of the games, just random spray, I've got 800+ Hours in BF3, BF4, BF2042 and BF5, but BF1 is the only one I can't be bothered to play ever again
