Hidden benefits of the CZ-805 not mentioned by Level: due to the amount of rail space on this gun in the game, it is one of only 4 (others are M416, SCAR-H, and M16A4) that can take the M26 shotguns as an underslung shotgun. If you use an underslung rail with any other gun, you will still be using the standalone version of the M26 equipped with a red dot sight. Having the M26 underslung means quicker transition between the two weapons and you get to use the primary weapon's scope. For example: M26 Slug with ACOG 4x. Also certain attachments function independently in the game for the primary weapon and underslung weapon. So, you could equip the flashlight on your CZ-805 with underslung M26 Mass and then turn the flashlight "Off" while using the CZ-805. When you switch to the Mass, the flashlight will automatically be "On" when it's time to do some work in close quarters. This is great because CQ is one of this gun's weaknesses. I've submitted this for Level's "Loadout" series a couple of times -- not enough up-votes yet!

That's actually pretty clever. I never really understood if it was worth it to use the M320/GP30/M26 underslung vs a foregrip since I couldn't tell how much quicker the transition is, or how useful your weapons sights are vs the normal sights on these addons. It always seemed to me the accuracy benefits of the grip more outweighed the benefits of using the these actually attached to the gun. I also always wondered if they effected they way your weapon fired. Realistically, you'd think the added weight would reduce recoil and increase stability, but I'd be surprised if DICE put that much thought into it. It could make for an interesting video if Levelcap digs up the right info. Finally, the M26+flashlight idea is great - something I never thought of.

I find all the guns in bf4 are a lot more valences over bf3 considering everyone use the same weapons for each class, in bf4 you can do fairly well with almost all weapons

I only use weapons that look and feel freaking awesome. Whatever gun feels and looks the coolest to me is probably what I'm going to use. Like the 338 recon, which has the best sound out of all the snipers.

Comparing a reload in real life is not a solid point. When I joined the Army as an Infantryman we started reload drills whenever we had free time. We timed the reloads to see who was the fastest at the end of OSUT. When I started it took me about 3 seconds (as I was heavily familiar with the AR platform) and at the end of training I cut that down to about 1 second. However when I got overseas (didn't time these reloads for obvious reasons) I reloaded my weapon in an area ranging from 3 seconds to a full on 7 seconds (estimating). The adrenaline of combat makes you shake a bit, and it DOESN'T translate to BF very well. For me I find reloading a weapon around 2.5 seconds as exceptional for a lowly Infantryman in the middle of getting 100's of rounds blasted at them. Also adding a Gears of War style time the reload right meter (what I think you might be talking about) would NOT be a good idea for battlefield. If you go off reload sounds and that's when you make your push on an enemy, it's going to be pretty shitty if one day all that time learning those sounds goes out the window when a dude can make what used to be a 2.7 reload into a 1.5 second reload because of a reaction meter.

@@spyfox9796 Firefights are not as fast as you see in video games. Firefights will take hours or even days. This means that your spent magazines that you kept have enough time to filled up with bullets. Wasting them is not a priority

I believe the reload tactic he talked about where you hold the full mag next to the empty mag is just called a tactical reload or tac reload.

The reload technique as described in the video is used in BF3 on the QBZ-95b carbine and the QBU-88.

It's really nice that you're giving us another Weapon Review every week! It makes waiting for Monday a bit easier! I want your opinion of the SIG SG553. Try it with a laser and ergo grip to hipfire everything in short range (Discipline), and a 3.4 PK-A or Prisma scope for med-long range.

im glad you´ve made a video of the CZ-805 now. it is my favourite assault rifle, and i tried diffrent attachments. after all now i stick with the flash hider and the potato grip. when you are in CQ situations you cant easily spray, doesent matter if ADS or not. Mostly i dont use a laserpointer, a taclight or a magnifier is pretty useful

Actually the CZ Bren 805 uses the same mag release as the M16/ M4 pattern rifles. You maybe thinking of the VZ 58 which was replaced by the 805 replaced in Czech republic.

I've mastered the CZ-805 and the QBZ-95-1 yesterday by tap firing,otherwise they are too slow.But if you tap fire them quickly,they are stable and fire faster.

The reloading technique you suggest is what I was taught in the (Swiss) military. It works great for an AK-style magazine that "rocks" into place. I'm not sure how well it would work on a magwell kind of design as on the CZ 805, where you'd have to move the old magazine much further down till it comes free.

I love the review and load out videos, LevelCap, they've helped me quite a bit figure out what weapons suit my play style best and made me a much more effective player. I was wondering if you considered doing review videos on the different maps to explain the best way to play them, because some maps I usually am near the top of the score board and others (Flood Zone and Zavod 311, I'm looking at you) I tend to struggle with. Thanks again for the informative videos, and for helping develop a skilled Battlefield 4 community!

I love this gun. I instantly recognized it in the trailer and it's been getting some love from shooters recently. I first noticed it in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and enjoyed it there. This thing is great and is going to be my go to when I get back to playing BF4 again. 10/10 would recommend.

This is one of my favorite guns. It's really good with the Chinese 4x zoom (Personal favorite med scope). I sat on Zavod 311 on A & picked off almost every target moving from Charlie & Echo from laying under a tree with a flash hider & stubby grip.

Levelcap, try to use the ACW R again with the RDS or coyote or cobra, laser sight, angled grip, muzzle break. In beta, you used it once but now you have all the attachment available.

Hey lvl got a load out for you it's kinda themed so I hope you like it Chinese Grenadier: Run the assault kit using the Qbz-95-1 assault rifle, Hd-33 1x sight, magnifier accessory, muzzle break and stubby grip Cz-75 all plain for being a standard Chinese soldier m320 and med bag, also run with the grenadier field upgrade for the theme I believe this is the Chinese holo sight, magnifier accessory because mounting a the hip fire is enough to get the job done being a bull-pup confiq, muzzle break to keep your vertical recoil down while using the magnifier so you don't loos sight of your targets. Hope you guys agree and lvl have fun playing with this if you choose to do so.

My favorite thing about this gun is that it really doesn't need a grip of any type. I mean, sure, you can throw an angled or stubby on there, but it literally just doesn't need it. You can use the gun from the get-go without worrying about plowing through the crap to get to the grip or whatever that makes the gun "usable". It also doesn't need a muzzle attachment, and it works fantastically with a suppressor. It really is flexible as hell, and a lot of people don't seem to recognize this. I just generally run suppressor, Kobra, and underbarrel rail with an M26 MASS or DART.

Just a bit of a side note, and something I think is worthy of mentioning, the CZ-805 has one of the tightest bullet groupings of all the Assault Rifles, coming in second only to the AK-12 I believe. That could definitely explain it's accuracy at longer ranges whilst tap firing. Though I could be wrong, so I won't say that it's fact lol.

Try tap firing a gun like the AS VAL that has a 3,5x first shot multiplier and see what happens.

AK mag release you use the full mag to hit the mag release and to pop the empty out, that puts the mag near the well and makes it easier to insert. I've seen mag changes that are almost as fast as an ar mag change, minus the charging part.

Started using this after watching this review. I burst fire it like I burst the G36C. You're correct, it works really well! Burst/tap-firing this weapon makes it a REALLY good mid-range killer.

There are so many guns in this game but there is little reason to use most of them because of how poorly the weapons are balanced in this game. Why is this gun one of the last assault rifles you unlock if its so average? Most casual players wont see any reason to use this gun over the ak12 or the m416. The CZ-805 should have been the first assault rifle you unlock. Its average in pretty much every category and would be a great starting weapon! Instead for some reason dice thought it would be a good idea to give everyone one the best guns in the game as a starting weapon. The same thing goes for carbines. There is no reason at all to use the g36c or the A-91 over the ak5c unless you like checking out all of the guns like I do. Weapon balancing sucks in this game.

I avoid using the niche weapon. The only assault rifle I used in BF3 was the M16a4 (6x Scope and bipod). Other than that I was using my 3,000+kills M39 EMR. Didn't matter what situation, I made it work lol

The problem with putting the "worse" assault rifles is that people who have been playing the game much longer and would have the "better" weapons unlock would have an advantage over those who have less weapons unlocked. As I see it, the biggest problems the dice devs have to deal with when balancing is that one: there are quite few weapons that need to be balanced between within the confines of their weapon category as well as against other weapon classes. In the earlier installments of BF like 1942, they had one weapon for each class in each faction. Now they have to deal with a lot more and when so many guns are implemented, there are going to be balancing problems. Another problem that they have to deal with is the "realism" factor of the guns, in that either by moral or contractual obligation, the devs must make the weapon as true to real like as they can, but because things like fire rate are less important in real life (because of how much more lethal weapons are) and this may cause balancing issues in a game that does not emulate weapons in that way in order to help weapon balancing. Summary: In the end I don't think that it is really that weapon balancing sucks, it is really complicated and hard for the devs to do well

MelBrooksKA But they did it so well in bf3. I could use any good and do beast with it. In bf4 its so frustrating trying to use alot of the guns because the majority of the time I will just get completely mauled be people using an ak12,m416,ace23,ak5c or a sar21. Im an average battlefield player. There are games were I will completely destroy everyone and go 50+ kills and -10 deaths and there are games that I will have to struggle to win. In bf3 it was the same but in that game if I did bad I new it was because I just wasn't as good as the people I was up against. But in Bf4 there are times were I would start shooting at someone before he has even seen me, but all of a sudden I somehow get killed in 2-3 shots after I have shot my full magazine at him. This happens alot and its extremely frustrating.

The only reason I started using this gun is because a friend of mine came over and played a few games with the gun, I gave it a try and it is a really solid gun to use and def will be playing more with it

Dunno if you've seen "Lone Survivor", but you should do a loadout based on PO2 Matthew Axelson. ( KIA ) Recon Primary - MK12 MOD with Suppressor, Leapold MK 4 scope with Red dot mounted. - BF4 - MK11 DMR with suppressor, use canted iron sights and 6x or 8x scope. Secondary - P226, no sights or attachments. Gadget 1 - PLD Gadget 2 - C4 ( Not used in movie ) And use the Shadow perk upgrade I know it's a terrible loadout, but it should be a good challenge for you. Do it as a kinda a small tribute to the fallen of ST10.

The reload mechanic you proposed, Lvl - I wouldn't even consider it that advanced. That's the reload technique I was taught at BASIC training for the army. I'm not sure that that's universal for the Army but I did think that it was the standard.

LevelCapGaming Love your videos. Just would like to point out the reload you're talking about around the 5:00 minute mark is called an "admin reload". It's not really used to shave time off but rather to hold on to your mag, in case you didn't empty it and want to keep it for reserve. "Tactical reloads" are used to cut down time but are not in the mindset of conserving unused rounds.

This is actually my favorite Assault rifle. I started out with the AEK and played with it until I got its last battlepack, but I actually prefer the CZ-805 and I have more kills with it. It does a great job at raising my 2K/D :P

i was playing a tdm snipers only round yester day and i went with a gold magum with a coyote sight and i absolutely kicked ass , and i hip fires atleast 12 kills xD the hip fire on that gun is amazing in my eye :)

for the reload you can do the same thing you can do with an AK as well, grab a new mag and with the tip push in the lever and dislodge the old mag in the same motion, replace and rack in a round. would be more realistic for a quck reload vice a tactical one

Operating the magazine release lever like on the AK or the G36 isn't (necessarily) a two-handed action. You can easily flip it with your trigger finger and knock out the dangling (half) empty magazine with your fresh one or jiggle the gun a bit to have it fall out. That being said, I'd manually take my magazine out too, unless it's really REALLY urgent. You might need to fill them up again later :P (which, unfortunately, isn't reflected in any gameplay mechanics I know of, not even ARMA)

Hey LevelCap. Perhaps you could do a video about "Camp-Sniping" With the bipod and high power scopes (14,20,40), and Zeroing. There will always be people who like to camp and snipe like a real sniper, rather than quick-scoping or moving too much, and whilst it might irritate other players, if more guys knew how to play this particular play style effectively, it might dispel some of the stigma around it, as well as helping advocates of this style better assist their teams. What do you think?

Hey lvl. Just wanted to let you know I just finished my first couple of hours of Titanfall alpha gameplay and I'm seriously impressed. I definitely see this being the next big thing. Respawn has extremely fun game here with simple and intuitive controls. The mechanics and overall balance of the pilots and the titans seems really good so far.

I used to play CoD a few years back then, and the G36c had that reload animation in MW3, the guys left hand already had the loaded mag on it and with one hand he would do the trade, that was so fucking cool, and the gun had a fast reload overal.

CZ - 805 is the best gun in the game. HD - 33 holo laser/light combo stubby grip and muzzle break or suppressor Perfect gun for all ranges from close to long.

Im a scar boy... the ScarH with halo... angle for grip and compensator and lazer light Cambo... destroys at long rang and if u use it like me( BOSSMODE) u can also destroys at close if ur good with it. That what i use... works boss for me.

100k 20d these are numbers i was putting up in bf3 on custom severs. tdm with a high ticket counts lets you get in to a groove and learn you opponents tenancies. I hope dice brings that back for ps4.

They should add a perk called "double ammo clip" where you strap 2 ammo mags together when reloading to take less time, it could even be an attachment

Or dice could add it for guns capable of actually doing it in real life. Examples include the g36c and sg553. Btw, its called a MAGAZINE! You load clips into a nerf gun.

I love the fire rate on this gun, its the prefect speed in my opinion. the CZ-805 also looks sick, kinda like the SCAR-H.

I love this gun! It is my favorite assault rifles in the game. I got over 500 kills in just under 5 hours of equivalent use, and unlocked everything for it which is a first for me. There was only a couple of rounds where i didn't get over 20 kills, if i didn't i was pretty damn close.

i hate the map as the fucking flood zone... I never playwith silencer, only use that when u play near near combat, then the silncer is effective

***** the more you play flood zone the more you will love it when the multi floor parking belongs to enemy it is an awesome fight and get a lot of kills when catching them by surprise

Jean Louis even tho, on a pc with 24 ppl in one team-worth it, but on a ps3 console, they r only 12ppl ina team, every1 is on the rooftops, and holding the flags....

I'm surprised DICE didn't bring back the reload animation from AEK/AN94 in BF3 to the AK12 class weapons in BF4. But I suppose balancing? I just thought the way you flipped out the old mag with the new and inserting it was cool.
