My friend Geoff joins me for another battle report showcasing the type of BattleTech games that we've been playing with our local group. In a 7,500 BV battle using the Mechbay Podcast Mission Pack, I take a Free Worlds League lance against Geoff's Draconis Combine force.

This was an awesome game!! It was super cool how you and your opponent had to balance your battle tactics with the strategic goal of the mission. I've never played the tabletop game as the regular slugfests didn't interest me that much, but this scenario looked super fun.

Scenarios with objectives other than just destroying the enemy force are nice to keep things interesting.

Oh man, that poor guillotine... I love the guillotine myself. That version is a little pricey but it definitely does some serious work.

I was really trying to push the Guillotine forward towards Geoff’s buildings rather than prioritizing defense, and it did not work out at all.

I like your videos and applaud your efforts, would you consider decreasing the volume on the battle sound effects like 20% :D

I’ll keep that in mind when editing the next one. I’m very much still learning as I go, especially on the audio side of things.

This one is probably close enough to count as a draw really. The buildings were having a terrible day on both sides of the board!
