I almost broke my fast this morning at 20 hours, but I really didn't want to. As luck would have it, I sliced my thumb cutting some cheese and had to have stitches at the emergency room, so I didn't break my fast! I'm almost at 33 hours, hoping to get to at least 90! This is my 3rd fast in a row and I feel great! Except for my thumb. It feels bad.

That silver lining 😂 Good on you for not caving and I hope the thumb heals up quick!

Body transformation is the ultimate. And you get to go through it again. Bravo!!! Skinny people who've been skinny their whole lives don't know this reality. As you fast and share your journey, please share your spiritual self. To go without food is to connect with God and Gods and Goddess. Edit: you are sharing your spiritual self. Thank you

Yes 🙌 fasting boosts autophagy! Autophagy is an amazing tool to recycle out all the wastes out of our cells; boosts growth hormone and beats c a n c e r & all the bad diseases we battle! I’m trying to back to doing this with you! Thx Jerome for being such a HUGE inspiration in my life! 🙏🏻

Great to see you again! I tried to start fasting with you last week, but kept only making it about 20 hours. Today was my B-day and I am starting the new year right now! After gaining back some of my 90lb loss, I really want to make this happen. I joined a Jazz dance class that I didn't think they would allow a 68 YO to do, but I love it, it’s been decades since I was dancing!

Had to comment twice in this one! I feel the same way about fasts having benefits outside of weight loss. I’m 60 and my spouse and I fast every week (mostly lol) after Saturday dinner until Monday Breakfast or Dinner. We do it to reduce inflammation and improve digestion. We started when doing OMAD for weight loss, but have continued this longer weekly fast for the other health benefits. I’ve got to get back to OMAD because I’ve regressed to eating all day.

Way to go Jermone, glad your back missed you. I have 30lbs to go to goal…. Gonna get back to rolloping 48s soon 😂

It seems like you just got to get into the flow. I haven't been getting past 22 hours and usually with a 4 hour eating window. This is not easy!

I actually love the way you eat. It’s one of the reasons why I started following you… Lol.

I may email him directly to ask, but how the heck is he doing 4000-5000 Cal ‘refeeds’… within an hour or two span ?!? 😮 A Big Mac meal with Diet Coke for the drink only has like 875 cals. So he’s downing (approximately) 5+ Value Meals, in under 2 hours ???!!!

@@AlekTrev006 I’m curious to know as well. I thought that was unheard of. I be too full eating small portions 😅

Thank you for coming back. It has really given me a big boost of motivation to get back on track. Did a 65hr and now trying out rolling 90s. I can't do short fasts atm as I also like to eat quite a lot. Watched some of your older videos recently and found quite a few important points. It really helps if you get your head in the right place first. Figuring out the reasons and motivations before setting any goals. The second important point was having a backup plan. Life isn't suppose to be always easy and stuff happens. The key is consistency. Even if you miss your target hours. Keep yourself accountable, stop the timer, do a smaller re-feed and start the timer again.(someone commented that dropping your phone doesn't mean you have to step on it as well) I found that I can't be having back-to-back eating days. It get's me to a downward spiral really quickly and no amount of really long fasts are not going to fix it. I have lost 10+ kgs over past few months but really inconsistent. Now I'm trying to be on track and your videos are a tremendous help. I still have about 60Kgs to lose and I'm determined that it can be done.

Consistency builds discipline….. it’s all about discipline and for this you must be consistent to build resistance on fasting

Fasting is the answer to your food addiction. Kinda like alcoholics. They can't just have one drink. To not eat is the best I can do and when I do eat I enjoy.

Started fasting November 9 at 142 Kg. Ten days later and I have already lost 5,7 Kg, weighing now 136,3 Kg. In total I have carried out six fasts and I am now on the 7th: 1. 55 hours 2. 40 hours 3. 23 hours 4. 16 hours 5. 18 hours 6. 45 hours 7. 23 hours and counting… I did a lot of research before I started fasting and it has proven to be a sustainable alternative so far. For this first cycle of fasts, I didn't fast with a number of hours in mind. I simply listened to my body and when I felt like breaking the fast, I went and ate. My eating window also varied, although I have repeatedly limited myself to just an hour or two, and eaten until I was full (I can eat a lot in one siting), prioritizing foods that I like and that I know won't make me hungry too soon. My first long-term weight goal is to be below 100 kg. Let's see what happens. I plan on updating this comment December 3rd.

Good job Jerome, I’ll be doing 20 to 24 hours this week and starting on Thursday. I am going to going to a 72 to the 90 hour fast. I want to see if I can do at least a week or go all the way until Thanksgiving as my goal that’s my plan and I’m sticking to it, come on everyone we can do this

Im day 1 today if my 90 hours fasts. Ive been doing 18hr fasts the last 2 weeks to warm up to something bigger. I was originally going to do the alternate day fasting with 3-36 hour fasts a week. I feel like this is going to be a better fit for me. You've inspired me, sir! I even made the spreadsheets! 😂

Hey Jerome I understand you & I say you know yourself & you need to do you! Moderation like just having a couple cookies I can’t do! I would rather not have any than to restrict myself so that’s what I do & that works for me. No one can tell you how to eat that’s something you know & you are doing that! I wish you all the best ooo & you are loved ❤

I was wondering, Jerome, do you actually enjoy the fasting or do you only do it so you can feast? I'm coming to the realization that for the fast/feast cycle to be really sustainable, I need to come to love the fasting part as much as the feasting - especially considering most of the time is spent in the fasted state.
