Thanks for this video - swapped RL 3 on my Baxi 105 HE PCB and instantly powered back to life. Saved me a fortune

The most useful video about Baxi boiler on KZfaq. Thanks a lot. The relay in the middle of the board is indeed responsble for the fan. The other one operates the water pump. Cheap relays are from the Chinese on eBay. Cheapest UK I found was £4.

Rather than just TALK about what you did, it would have been a million times more helpful if you had SHOWN us what you did - filmed yourself in the process every step of the way.

Hi Niebko, there are 2 relays both the same, replace 1 if the pcb has the same problem replace the other one. These two relays are 90% of the boards problem. Available online very cheaply.Hope that helps.

dick smith thanks for let me know so quick.I replaced both relays for the brand new ones that I bought on eBay then reset boiler but red light 50 degrees still flashing and boiler won’t start up,pump running.Have u any idea what else maybe wrong with my boiler thanks

If you don't have new relay you can open up old and just clean them with deoxy 2:51

Hi. I have a baxi luna combination boiler. In the summer when the ac is on and I take hot shower, only hot air blows out. Do you know a cause or fix for this problem? Need help!

how did you diagnose the relay.. more exactly.. you removed it? how did you traced it? so that you know what is the component.

what do you have to ask for when buying a relay and who do you ask? I try to avoid bothering my landlord as he raises rent and might kick us out.

Hi is this Relay marked up RL3 ? My PCB is slightly different and I notice that there’s 2 the same relays on PCB I don’t want to make a mistake please let me know thanks a million

Ok so how did you test that the pcb relay was defective, or was it based on other peoples suggestions that this was the fault?

Hi. I had the same fault with the same boiler. The plumber replaced the pcb board with a brand new one. However, when i switch the heating on the flame stays on for about 5mins then goes off for a few mins then comes back on. The radiators are not even getting hot because of this intermittent on and off of the flame. Any ideas anyone???

When you change your pcb on the baxi boilers some some.of them have the dip switch number 5 if off your setpoint will be 35°C to 85°C, but if the dip switch on the setpoint will be 35°C to 45°C causing your boiler switching on and off every 5 minutes and temperatures not reaching higher than 45°C.
