Bayern Munich have placed Erik ten Hag on a new list of possible successors to Thomas Tuchel, but his focus is steadfastly on Manchester United.
Sky Sports News understands that the Bundesliga giants have touched base with Ten Hag’s agent Kees Vos to enquire if the Dutchman would be open to taking over at the Allianz Arena.

It makes perfect sense, ETH was a coach at Bayern, he knows everyone there and knows the identity of the club and structure. At the moment United are still shambolic and need a lot of new players.

Would be an interesting move. If he was successful at Bayern then it would show up United’s structure to be at fault over many years. Fans often go after the manager but there’s much more to it than that.

It’s definitely not the coach….Man Utd squad needs a serious overhaul and TIME similar to how Arteta, Fergie in the golden days for example. Throwing money and players and a coach isn’t going to solve the issue at all I believe Mourinho when he said his greatest achievement in coaching is getting THAT squad to finish 2nd in the Premier League in 2018

Utd also finished third in the league last season or did you forget that already? He greatly overachieved last season. At the moment his team is unable to perform due the massive number of injuries. No proper LB. Having to rely on third and fourth choice cb and sometimes youngsters. Once the squad is fully fit i believe Utd will be playing better football. A rebuid takes years just look at Arsenal with Arteta. They stuck with him for years and are now title challengers 2 seasons in a row.

Ole was a better manager sure he didnt win anything But under his management United had 1, 2nd place epl finish and a 3rd. United was also extremely unlucky in the Europa League final with the penalties. He was only there for 2 and half years, United had a little bad spell in his 3rd season, sitting in 7th place 12 points of chelsea the epl leaders and he was forced out of the club lol. This season United have been terrible sitting in10th for most of the season and their only 8th now 29 point of Arsenal. How come the fans have never put pressure on the board to get Erik ten Hag sacked like they did with ole.
