Former Cal guard Jalen Celestine committed to Baylor over the weekend, giving the Bears a 44%(!) 3-point shooter out of the portal. While Celestine's numbers aren't gaudy, he can open up plenty of space offensively.

Excited for Jalen Celestine addition for men’s basketball. Now they just need a backup center because they do need more than Ormier and Josh O. Yes I am saying Ormier can play small ball center.

To be honest preseason rankings or polls don’t mean anything to me. It’s all about where you finish because remember WVU was picked last year and clearly finished higher. This is just 1 example, and I could list more examples. However, you probably get the point. Personally I would put Baylor above Colorado because I don’t buy Colorado hype.

First off. Baylor baseball will miss the big 12 tournament the second straight year. It occurred yesterday when Texas tech at Oklahoma state baseball game on Sunday got cancelled due to weather which in hindsight Oklahoma state should have done what Oklahoma did in terms of double header on Saturday to avoid a cancelled game. Even if baylor baseball sweeps UCF in the last big 12 baseball series they won’t catch up to Texas tech because Texas tech would own the better winning percentage despite Baylor taking two out of three games against Texas tech. Part of the issue for Baylor baseball is injuries while another part off of the issues is pitching.
