It was easier to have fun back when we had nothing Nothing much to manage Back when we were damaged Sometimes the freedom we wanted feels so uncool Just clean the pool And send the kids to school But oh, I remember how you used to shine, back then You went down so easy like a glass of wine, my friend When the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again But it turns out you only get to do it once I think it's true what they say that the dream is borrowed You give it back tomorrow Minus the sorrow And the pain she just comes in to break up the daydream And I felt his waving To keep from feeling the same thing But oh, I remember how you used to shine, back then You went down so easy like a glass of wine, my friend When the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again But it turns out you only get to do it once You only get to do it once You only get to do it once You only get to do it once But oh, I remember how you used to shine, back then You went down so easy like a glass of wine, my friend When the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again But you were wrong, you only get to do it once

Pretty much proves.. Noel needs Liam. Not the other way around. Liam is the voice, Liam is the presence, the style and he's the MAN.
@FRMadferit2 жыл бұрын
Pretty much that's bullshit. 70% of his gigs are Noel's songs. He wouldn't do so good if he sang only solo material. He was a good singer back in the day but without noel he wouldn't have gotten anyhere. 100% sure.
@camone94542 жыл бұрын
@@FRMadferit the thing is mate. It's not his songs. It's Oasis songs. Yes he wrote them. But if you think for one second that if it wasn't Liam's voice in them, the songs would be what they were and are, you are completely delusional. Noel is a great songwriter. And that's it. He's not even a great guitar player. And even less of a singer. And don't get me started on stage presence and performance. The fact is they need each other to be the worldwide phenomenon Oasis was, but right now I'd say Noel needs Liam more than the other way around. But this is just my opinion.
@camone94542 жыл бұрын
@@FRMadferit Besides all Noel wants to do these days is talk about his money..
@FRMadferit2 жыл бұрын
@@camone9454 No way noel needs liam more than liam needs noel. They need each other but without noel masterpieces liam is just a good singer, being a good singer is never enough. If you think noel is nothing without liam explain why don't look back in anger is one of the most famous songs ever. Then explain why beady eye never made it.
@camone94542 жыл бұрын
@@FRMadferit It's a very good song yes. But they were already really famous, and the best band in the world. If Noel started solo, with that song he would never ever make it even though it's one of the best songs ever written. But I respect your opinion. Being only a good singer may not be enough, but being only a great songwriter is not enough as well.. Noel is a really talented songwriter. But you have to admit that he's not a talented singer.

@@Tazandthemaniacs because these days, Liam is sound af and was always the the star performer of Oasis. Liams changed into a better man whereas Noel is the arrogant twat he’s always been, and then some. Noel wrote the songs, yes, he’s a talented songwriter, credit where it’s due! He’s never a front man, not in a million years. I reckon, public opinion from people like me, who’ve been with Oasis from the start much prefer Liam to Noel these days.
