Changing up the gauntlet was a good idea, especially being the last one, I love how the House Robots were still "powered off" during Napalm's run and was like "Well, that's not happening again." for everybody else, and Mortis had the best gauntlet run ever, really fitting for it being the last one

Mortis, Panic Attack, Killertron, Behemoth in one heat... RAW

Did anyone notice Mortis's axe was pushing it off the ground? If it had enough space it may have been the first robot to self-right and not cassius.

And the 2nd Wars finally starts to get good. Y'know, I don't think anyone was really betting on Panic Attack to be the ultimate winner. They sure seemed like underdogs compared to the likes of Mortis, Killertron and Behemoth. Napalm may be a crap robot, but give them credit- they managed to drive in a pretty straight line at decent speed, which is an impressive feat in itself at this stage of Robot Wars history. The Sentinel WAS actually a JCB Digger.

What used to happen in the pits after the cameras stopped rolling? I know they're all geeks playing with their spanners but surely one or two of 'em must have made a pass or three at Philippa. If you asked her today would she say, 'Oh Brian...or Geoffrey...or Arnold....flowers...chocolates....LOL.

And the series semifinals were born! Can't see why Napalm gets a lot of flack among Robot Wars fans, probably cause they 'controversially' beat Demolition Demon in Heat A final. Behemoth was the dark horse "You went for a high jump it was like something out of James Bond sshhhhhewp!" Craig was so witty with his comments xD Mortis was indeed badass

I found it weird, that although not mentioned as one, the Sentinel was declared as a "house robot".

I get the feeling the producers probably threw a wobbler at the drivers for being asleep at the controls in the first round so they made sure to guard that route like crazy for everyone else.

Why the constant misconception even by its own team that Killertron was in the grand final of the first war? It wasn't!

I love how in these early series all the competitors are within... ...20Kg of the weight limit or so. In later series they all go around 1Kg off the max weight. sh*t got serious.

@kanenkitten The Cunning Plan team reentered with a heavyweight called Griffon, which was rather similar in design to the American robot Biohazard.

They changed that in the third wars. The heats and the semis/grand finals are strictly arena.

Where were houserobots when Napalm was going through?

@kanenkitten TRACIE just didn't bother till series 3, when they failed to qualify with SHARON. Cunning Plan kind of returned as Griffon for Series 2 and 3. Also, Razer's wasn't a random seeding, it was due to it being World Champion.

The gauntlet was supposed to be harder in the semi final ey.. Well obviously not when you get all the house robots which all seemed to be asleep when Napalm was on. :P

Seriously why do they say "Behemoth" like that? It bugs me.

Napalm was the worst bot in the semi final by far and they basically let it walk through, thats utter garbage, its a shame that Mace would go out and Napalm is the fastest....

Napalm gets so much flak, unfairly in my opinion, you can't really compare the series 2 robots to later series, behemoth changes completely between series 2 and series 3! It's problem was that they never upgraded it so of course it was massively outclassed later on. Here, while its not the best in terms of battling it is still completed that gauntlet in 15 seconds, that's impressive no matter how you look at at, a lot of robots would take that long just getting over the ramp or accidentally drive off halfway down.

They even make the gauntlet in the semi finals? Kind of stupid i think, i dont want to see parkours things i want to see Robots smash each other. Its a waste of Potential to let them do that.
