#BBEA24Day Celebration Event Teaser. This comes from an online Celebration conducted on May 22, 2024 from the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame and NFL Alumni Association. The Event was produced by WSE and the NFL Alumni Association. The Celebration was designed to celebrate the 64 statewide football student athletes that had been nominated for the 2024 Bridge Builder Excellence Award (BBEA). The BBEA honors students who have shown excellence on the football field, in the classroom (3.2/+ core gpa), and in their community. The event was hosted by Evans Putman, alongside SCFHOF Chairman David Wyatt, NFL Alumni Association, SC Chapter President, Dexter Davis; SC Public Charter School Superintendent Chris Neeley, and SCFHOF Class of 2021 Inductee Rick Sanford. Special messages were sent in from South Carolina Governer Henry McMaster, SC Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver, Pro and South Carollina Football Hall of Famer Brian Dawkins, and South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Inductee Stump Mitchell.
